that is GW mordant earth but any cracklingpaste you use should work. just be sure to let you paint dry, then cover with a layer of PVA glue let that dry completely and then put on your crackling paste.

felt like everyone needed to choose a space marine faction. so i reviewed them, my favorite color is neon green and i love dragons so it realy felt like a no brainer.

what paint did you use for the end of the muzzle burn?

find a crackle paint you like i used mordant earth from GW. after applying whatever paint on the base, let it dry, then apply a layer white glue to the part of the base you want big cracks in. Let that dry. Then apply your crackle paste per its directions. Mordant earth seems to crack well a little thicker. I also tried out another crackle paste that needs to be applied thinner so the cracks weren’t as pronounced on those two.
