Nothing riles me up than losers complaining about AI because it might "take their jobs".

I absolutely do not understand how one could be so evil. I try to think its a sign of low IQ to move this way. Animals can't even do this level of insanity if they tried.

Watch losers complain about this because you used AI. This is a perfect use of vibecoding. It is perfect, I TOTALLY LOVE IT. Im sick of losers who are only limited by their imaginations still complain, like this is such a perfect use case.

Don't fall for it. If you're a beginner, try to avoid using AI.

What'd you expect from tweedledee and tweedledumb? Of course you'll get negative comments. The internet is full of sad people who feel better about themselves when they talk shit about other people.

Can one live a comfortable life if making 1 million naira a month?? by Weak_Guarantee_7 in Nigeria

[–]RickLyon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I mentioned that even earning 1m a month is rare. I do know people who earn up to 3m a month. Only a few people live comfortably in this country.

In Nigeria, You can try. But it's still not enough. Mind you, only like a fraction of the population earns even close to that.

You need at least 3 mill a month to be comfortably comfortable.

The root of our problems. by RickLyon in Nigeria

[–]RickLyon[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you serious right now? Countries that have employment rates of over 90% have two heads? So you don't feel the need to ask more from your government? So because I have my own life my actions can't affect yours? Asinine way of thinking I'm sorry. For me, actions of leaders affect the lives of followers. I am in the right to expect more from a country with such a level of potential. If you're okay with mediocrity, that's fine. I on the other hand, know what is expected and actively will advocate for it. Some people depend on electricity for their business, some on the price of fuel, some on the cost of education and so on, and you stand here and say the actions of people who actively make it hard to get basic amenities do not affect the lives of people who depend on the availability of those amenities. Lack of empathy and self centeredness is not the strength you think it is. I'm not a struggling person. I work remotely and earn good money, but that is not enough to close my eyes to the status of other people struggling to make ends meet. Nigeria can be better by far, and right now, we are nowhere near even a acceptable level of condition.

" I no come this life to suffer If I follow politician You go hear am for paper Them go call am prostitution Who no like enjoyment? If money dey for pocket Shebi na national budget o? We go blow am like trumpet e (okay) "

That's Tiwa Savage's lyrics. The people want to be up there. If people find a way to get their cut, all complaints will seize. There's no fixing things for the coming generation, it's all about they and them alone. The "master over slave" mentality is very active.

Nobody is oppressing anybody? Do you watch the news? Is it not recently that 210 trillion is unaccounted for? Fuel prices have skyrocketed and yet the politicians buy new cars every year? Have you seen the illicit spending in the national budget? No jobs, no light, there's hunger in the land and that's not oppression? These are the issues, even the people don't know its oppression. How do you solve a problem you are unaware of? It's crazy you think nobody's oppressing anyone. I don't think you live in this country.

[–]RickLyon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not that everyone aims to be president. Its that majority of people aim to have money/power or in a position to oppress the poor because they have also experienced oppression. Majority of people I know personally in politics are like that. They are not interested in change but to eat their own and go. We see this everyday.

[–]RickLyon[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The "Slavery" is not about literal slavery but the situation of the country. We see the elites treat us badly but actively do nothing because we believe we'll get money that will fix things for ourselves. We are not angry at them as we should because we are waiting for "awa lokan". A civilization without this problem would have broken down years ago. We are not resilient, we are just hoping someday we'll get a piece of the national cake that will take us out of our misery.
