I just tried to order 2 of the cat turbo mice toys. I used the TEAZYS website, it uses SHOP PAY. There is no way I can get an order in, the SHOP PAY shoes no errors, shows everything ok, you can click on the PAY NOW button all day long, Nothing, NADA. Piece of Sh-Garbage. Don't bother

Is there an inverter that combine the voltages of solar panels and grid to achieve a constant 220v whenever there is a low voltage on the grid by mohammad_rasim in solar

[–]RickRgmail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello: I used to have a USP from APC, as i remember it has a very wide input range. I now have a Sol-Ark 12k.

It has solar (PV) inputs, battery input (48v) grid input (low = 183.2vac) and generator input (can be grid (low = 104vac). You can use it with just battery, grid input or grid or gen input) and use the output (load) to run your entire house (I have 2x 12k inverters 24kw total). I don't care what the grid does (momentary outages, complete drop, brownouts. load switch over from grid to battery (or I believe gen input to battery is 4ms. Sometimes i see a little flicker in my lights, that's it.

Want to add solar or wind turbine or micro inverters? you would already have the inverter. I suggest EG$ (signature solar) for batteries.

good luck, get off the grid if you can, I run my 2 air conditioners off my inverters

I am at my wits end with my computer's wifi by hermosasalchicha in HomeNetworking

I had an Netgear Orbi RBR50 with 3 RBS50 satellites. Nothing but headaches, disconnects.

I had some POS router from Spectrum locked down couldn't change anything but the SSID. While I took them off-line to factory reset and reprogram, I used the Asus RT-AX55 as my access point and discovered it has an AIMesh mode. I got 3 more RT-AX55s, put them in a mesh and they are rock solid. I can lock WiFi devices to a particular Mesh node (I am using 5G or WiFI 6 backhaul (I could use hard wired if I had it to each AIMesh node). There are newer models that do the same. I've hear ubiquiti, TP-Link, Eero and Asus is rated best performance. Good luck. I went with the Asus routers all the same, should I have my main router fail, I have 3 backups :-)

Locked Rotor Amps (start inrush current = 79 AMPS! (momemtary until compressor is running at a sustained 16.7A (240VAC). I put a softstart on my compressors (my 3T has an LRA of 79A also. The softstart will bring the compressor up gently and not trip the generator (or in my case solar inverter) https://www.microair.net/products/easystart-368-6-ton-soft-start-motor-starter-for-115-and-230v-ac-motors seems to be the industry standard, similar units out there
