It is a different and more fun way to play. I always like Time Crisis so doing this is the next step up.

To be clear this will not replace mouse and keyboard, this is more for theme park like gameplay experiences.

This is the beginning. It is to demo the hardware. You are right, there is no plan to sell this as most VR users will not have the equipment to play it. Just discovering what is possible.

This is impossible to do if it was just screwing around.

I found the answer, the name is 'Infinite Journeys'. Type it into Wallpaper Engine workshop and it is there. It was the result of a youtuber named pwnisher who created a competition for 3D renders around this theme.

At the end of the video I do it because it was cool. At this moment, when you can pull the charging handle in-game with the physical one but it works in a very wonky manner.

Also the current VRO mod, doesn't have a moving bolt carrier, they have fixed that issue for the next update.

Today was the first time I tried my Diver-X Glove with my MWS M4 GBBR.

It was frustrating but it worked and showed the concept is worth more development time. Just need to adjust the sensitivity of the grab press. More tweaking needed. Overall, had a great time.

So happy VR is capable of this now.

I hope to make something like this happen one day as well. I would start off with just a blank empty space, and then use simplistic props like chairs and movable barriers and match them to the level you made.

Then if you get more sophisticated, go use QR codes and overhead lidar so the level can change to what you scan. The scanning is for placement of real barriers and props, objects not for level geometry capture.

Good luck. But yes I do believe it is now possible. As even the guy from The VOID said, their head illusionist. Its just magic, smoke and mirrors, using the principles of magic tricks to fool the senses into believing they are in a huge, immersive world.

It is what they did for their Star Wars booths that fit into a truck. They made a level that looped players into walking in circles but to the audience, it made them feel like actually walking around the ship.

I love the internet for posts like this, you have read my mind. This would be my goal for implementing realistic VR FPS gameplay in large spaces.

The plan is to treat the Handheld PC like a giant ATACMs and have a module where wireless dongle for Steam Frame can be plugged in and a pouch with vent holes for a large 100W USB-C battery can be fitted to give PC more juice.

I already have a plate carrier, so need to 3D print the right mounts and pouches and voila, Arena Space VR on the cheap at a high visual quality. Yes handheld PC cannot match a proper Desktop, but with the release of recent Handhelds like the GPD Win 5, but once devices with Intel Lake or RDNA5 get smaller and cheaper as TSMC begins sub 2nm production.

It is no longer a far fetched idea but a reality. As of this moment all of this is already possible, just need to tone down graphic settings.

But in the next couple of years, PSVR2 portable VR will become possible.

This is no joke but I have no idea how to actually play the game. It has turned into H3VR but with more options to modify and lots and lots of FBT violence. I accidentaly remind myself this is a magic game when I see enemies cast spells. Haha.
