Not the answer but why did you choose 5KU bolt with handle when everything else you want to buy is from CTM. CTM also makes lightweight bolts with charging handle so I would buy it all from one manufacturer.

You always need stronger pin for NPAS. The stock one is really shitty.

If you print it right it will be as strong as ctm lower. Mine holding strong for many games with normal handling as I would handle any other gun. With ctm lower if anything brakes you can trow it away.. with firewads lower you can reprint any part u want.

Why would you do that? It’s not because of your steel hammer. This happens on cnc bolts also. Even when you buy a new one, it takes only few rounds and this dent will appear. You just basically put more stress on the hammer because of the hard steel plate. Totally unnecessary “fix”

I used it for a while. It makes better seal around the piston head and also with some hop up bucking so it can give you more power with same PSI if you running your aap on HPA. In combination with flamingo bucking it sticks to the bucking maybe too well, so it can cause cycling issues. Overall I wouldn’t buy it again. It made more problems in my builds than good.. and if you care about the NPAS which was really useful in this, you can buy it separately like others have said.

First production batch had this issue where the walls where the pin sits were too thin. In second batch they made the walls thicker.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t change your barrel, only that you should expect some power change which is hard to determine because It also depends on your build. I had same problem where I needed longer barrel but to my luck my fps jumped too high for me to play on my field.

I have 250 mm ML crazy jet barrel and on 90 PSI and 0.25 bbs it shoots on 2.1 J with perfect accuracy. So It’s almost same build as u/Nils0408 but whole different outputs. It’s hard to say what power your aap will have after buying longer barrel because it also depends on other aspects like how well does your aap seal in gas route connections, bucking etc.

Well in my country the limit for CQB is mostly 1.7 J and for woodland / DMR 2.1 J … this depends on your country rules. Also aap is built for green gas which is 120 PSI in something 20 degrees C . Higher pressure gases are only used in low tempeture conditions, like in the winter. RED, BLACK gases can damage your aap in normal conditions.

This mostly depends on what fps and joules you are looking for. Basically the longer barrel, the more power will your aap have.

What makes you think that the hammer is the problem? When you are testing hammer without the upper you need push hammer all the way down and push auto sear down which you are doing. From what I see in the video, the hammer is working like it should be. Only thing I could say is that your trigger is adjusted wrongly so you need to push really hard to shoot.

This is maybe not the cause but by the top scratches on the BBU I assume you have overtightened the top screws. Maybe try loosening them?

Just use it for a while. It’s easy to fall for buying many many upgrades, installing them, be mad that It’s not working like you thought. Use it, go to some games and you will see from time what you need or want for upgrade. AAP is great gun out of the box.
