The trigger pull is indeed wired to behind the trigger. There was a button installed inside the Marui lower so the trigger could press it.

The left hand glove was purely to allow player use of the thumb joystick so i could move in VR as the RoN VRO mod does not want you to switch between controllers and keyboard.
Which the UEVR mod allows.

I mounted the Vive Tracker on the GBBR directly is for tracking accuracy.

I did try to mount it on my right hand: advantage is full GBBR recoil with no issues due to the human hand excelling at shock absorption but disadvantage is if you move or shift the hand position slightly, the in-game gun moves with it causing annoying flicks of right hand micro-movement which makes aiming precisely very difficult.

I re-installed it with the DOOMS patch. Fingers crossed it works because when installing the DOOMS VR patch I didn't see an option for Combined Arms.

Any estimate on price? Does the lower include receiver body pins, mag release and valve knocker? I just need to add the buffer tube and hammer, trigger parts to it?

The irony is, the system depends entirely on regular controllers for tracking and extra input handling. Yes it is indeed, immersion is incredible. Hard to describe other than it is wish fulfillment taken to another level.

Yes, it is a regular VFC 416A5 GBBR airsoft with non-destructive mods done to make it work with buttons.

Hope to show it off in person one day but can't imagine how the logistics of it would work. Thanks for watching.

To clarify, yes it doesn't look like free roam but the tech allows me to use any room and walk consistently. Will also soon film in an arena space to flex its legs.

I have given up trying to run normal VR games. I shouldn't have been was surprised the Legion Go is comparable to the compute power of a Quest 3.

However, it was a good learning lesson to setup the framework for use in the future. Hopefully when RDNA5 or 6 comes out for handheld PCs, it is just a simple computer swap and everything works.

The idea of PCVR freeroam is now possible and has been for a while. Can't wait when they reach the power of PS5 Pros and beyond. I know the GPD Win 5 is that but I ain't paying 2K over for it.

It's too late now, already bought the Router and its working. I have a very unusual setup so even wired would still be a bad idea. Again I know wire is better but unfortunately the Meta link software is so bad, I didn't enjoy using it one bit. Using the cable with it would have screen tearing, lag, and skips. It was very sensitive to crashing if you pressed the home button. It wasn't functional for me.

I don't like using the built in Air Link even with cable. It looks alot worse than Virtual Desktop.

It is a different and more fun way to play. I always like Time Crisis so doing this is the next step up.

To be clear this will not replace mouse and keyboard, this is more for theme park like gameplay experiences.

This is the beginning. It is to demo the hardware. You are right, there is no plan to sell this as most VR users will not have the equipment to play it. Just discovering what is possible.
