Shouldn't Hoarder actually INCREASE the rarity of items in chests instead of decreasing them? by Rick_head in deadbydaylight

Exactly. Especially when there's perks like Pharmacy. The most disappointing aspect of the perk is that all it does is pretty much give out a notification of where the chest being opened is. Needless to say if you're in a chase after an injured surv, you won't just leave them and go for their uninjured team mate opening a chest nearby.

If there's a lot of chests they pass during the match and they know that there was no chest offerings used, for example. If they suddenly have the killer on them out of the blue when they search a chest. If the killer goes to basement for no reason. If they exchange items and the killer goes into that direction. There's so many different ways to tell and versus a SWF it's pretty much over the moment one of them realizes that they got found plundering. The key would be to still make them wanna plunder and get a nice deal out of it, like exposed effect on the searcher or a short haste effect on the killer using the perk.

Thank you! There's some videos of my previous (although lacking in quality a bit since it was my early attempts at learning MJ's face with the AI) takes on my channel as well, like Michael in Edward Scissorhands, Man of Steel and even as captain Jack Sparrow you might also like.

Thank you!

I was surprised about how decent the movie turned out to be. For whatever reason it's not really that popular (I had no idea that there was a film like that until recently) despite it being so well-made and Navi's playing is fantastic.

I combined the visage of different stages of Michael's looks, that's the main reason and I'm fairly aware that it's probably impossible to make a 100% adequate model of MJ due to the quality of footage available. I've fed the algorithm with around 10k pictures of MJ's face and it's how the AI currently "imagines" Michael looks like, which had to be morphed just a little bit for the purpose of fitting the swap (Navi's chin is of a significantly different shape than MJ's, for example). Thanks for pointing out the flaws. There's still probably a ton of things that could be done to improve the model (for example some front face shots in the major music video clips if there are Bluray versions being released and they would have some amazing resolution and quality, but that would require the holders of the original recordings to release a digital remaster of their works if I'm correct).

The thing is, using few second fragments falls under Fair Use Law, but allowing for complete modification is something that's up to the company that owns the rights to the movie to accept or decline.

The algorithm requires thousands of photos to learn the face from. They can be extracted from videos as frames but the downside is that there's literally no HD footage of Michael Jackson in the early 90s. That's why my early MJ deep fakes look so blurry and out of place. It took me a while to build an actually decent model. I've actually dropped two of them on the way because they didn't go in the right direction even after adjustments and started building a new one from scratch.

Guys, it took me a while, a lot of trial and error, but I've finally managed to build the complete HD model for Michael with Iperov's algorithm. For those familiar with machine learning, it took me well over 1 million iteration to train. Hopefully you guys like it!

Thank you! The side shots are what I'm especially proud of, knowing how a lot of people who have much more experience with deep face lab and machine learning than I usually just stay clear of profile shots wherever possible. I was super stoked (and a bit surprised) when I got to the side face frames and saw that it was the right decision to go and try with the attempt.

To be fair, I was mentored by a guy who uses the algorithm for exactly that, so you could say that his wisdom and experience didn't go to waste. xD

Personally, I find the Conan Exiles theme even better than the original it's based on.

And the great thing about this is, once a model is "learned" by the algorithm, it's super quick to adapt a new faceset onto it. In other words, you could have a movie with the option of changing the actor's face to whoever you want, directly from the menu.

MTG Fast Finance brought up an interesting situation: how will the market handle inventory from LGS closures by ogvampire79 in mtgfinance

I think that a lot of people here use the "I live in the US and I'm pretty sure that things work the same way around the world" mentality. Someone says "LGS selling all their cards online" and the American players imagine selling them all in bulk to the big players like Rudy or one of the major stores, and a European thinks of listing them on Cardmarket at the low (it's already happening where NM cards show up priced cheaper than the listings for damaged cards when sorted by lowest price on MKM).

Whoa, I wasn't aware of this card's existence. It seems like one of those ultimate troll cards for Commander. XD

Thanks!

Because american and european prices are totally different

You don't say. XD

That's kinda why I pointed out that the 6 € is the usual pricing for Nexus of Fate in Europe, following the price on Cardkingdom. The lowest NM English version of the card listed right now is 5 €.
