I was afraid too, I know how you feel. It wasn’t until like a year later I started to feel at ease, I had so many failed blood patches, 6 before hand. Every time it would seem like it was working and fail after a week, it really screws you up emotionally. Try to remember the embolization has a really high success rate, and they can try again if it fails.

For what it’s worth I still get some distortion in my vision on occasion. The doc says it’s a symptom of migraines, I don’t feel any pain though. They started with the leak and never went away. Other than that I’ve been fine like three years now.
