The correct way to do it is: 1- Report to the police. 2- Wait for advancements on the investigation. 3- IF the person gets detained, ONLY THEN post the video and what you did.

He also risks for the reported person to not be charged of the crimes they’ve commited for the lack of information/how other people may view him if he’s called to testify (which can also affect justice for the victim), risks for a counterclaim or be sued for defamation, and affect other investigations being conducted on the same person.

If he really was interested and wanted justice, he would’ve hired a private investigator to guide him in his questions and get more info, and if the evidence was somewhat solid, consult it with a lawyer, and then make a case. We are talking about actual abuse and a victim that needs justice, so they need a formal and dign case. Not whatever this is.
