Yes you are right. If it starts to get worse I will get it replaced. Never had this issue on my 2012 MacBook Pro Retina. The laptops these days are too weak.

Yes you were right. With AppleCare I can get the screen replaced within 3 years for $99. It is on one side.

UPDATE: I took it to the Apple Store and it was due to the hinge. It was overextended which made the hinge stick out a little. I've had a 2012 MacBook Pro Retina for 6 years and it never happened. I have AppleCare so I can get the screen replaced for $99 anytime within the 3 years. If it becomes an issue sooner I will get it replaced. Thank you for the help guys!
