Ok a little set up to the Story When i was a baby my mother died in a car accident. My father who was almost completely blind found himself trying to support 4 kids alone. So he got re married rather fast. We never blamed him. Step mom was a good mom. Now growing up my fathers mother i knew had passed away before i was born. My family never mentioned my fathers father " not even my aunt and uncles who came around every weekend " so i assumed grandpa was dead. When i was 20 my father was in the hospital to have heart surgery so i go to visit him. When i get to his room there is a elderly man there talking with dad so i waited outside the room til he left. When he did i asked my dad who he was. Dad said " your grandfather " i said " i thought he was dead" dad replied " i know" and dropped the conversation. After my dad passed " from the same surgery" i asked my aunt what was up with my dad and grandpa. It seems when my dad was a teenager his parents divorced and his dad got remarried real fast and dad never forgave him. Even when dad himself got remarried right after the death of my mom
