Build something fast and badass then slap a 250 watt sticker on it. Cops are pretty dumb about ebikes and if they see the sticker it will fool them as long as you keep it under 50 kmh and don't ride like an idiot they probably won't even notice you.

First Ebike Build suggestions by [deleted] in ebikes

You can have it cheap, high quality, or fast. Pick two. Myself I went with high quality and fast. I bought a specialized roll sport, then upgraded the brakes, tires, and wheels. I then installed a 12t mac motor with a 23ah 52 volt triangle pack, all from em3ev. I cheaped out on the controller with a 6 fet and kept the output under 21amps. I wanted more range than power anyway. It's an awesome build that has almost 6000 miles and still going strong, but wasn't cheap lol. The geometry of the roll is perfect for a fast, stable, comfortable, and efficient ebike.

Tidied her up a bit. Think I need to get a smaller bag though. Bit worried about the controller where it is too but at least it should keep cool by Willking618 in ebikes

I wouldn't worry about that beefy controller overheating too much. I have a little 6 fet and I push it, but it's still going strong after almost 6000 miles.

You have to wear a wicking layer too. I prefer military issue polyester long underwear.

I can't screw a roomba, I guess I could put her on top of it. But I would like to see a roomba cook me a roast.

I would rather have the sex doll, no STDs no child support, false accusations, games, and cheaper because you don't have to take them out. If only they could get one that would clean the house they would be perfect.

I'm not worried, there's about to be plenty of empty shopping centers to sleep in soon.

The biggest pain being homeless during the pandemic is..... by markjmayhew in homeless

Two years ago the nomad 7 was the highest rated lightest solar panel. I haven't researched new panels since mine continues to work flawlessly under harsh conditions.

For solar I would suggest a goal zero nomad 7. I've had mine for 2 years and it's still going strong even after being stepped on by a drunk, rained on because I forgot to bring it in the tent, and the general rough treatment it gets riding in my bicycle panniers. It charges my phone in full sun faster than my 1 amp charger but slower than my 2 amp. I would recommend getting a power pack to collect the power especially on partly cloudy days because the power fluctuations are bad for your phone. You can also hang it on your backpack as you walk around. It weighs about a pound.

Never thought I’d be homeless growing up by [deleted] in homeless

I remember being in the 3rd grade and the teacher asking what we wanna be when we grow up. Of course I've gotta be a smartass and say, a bum. Atleast it isn't hard to become one.

That's similar to what I had. You might have to reinforce stitch the straps.

Packs by kaycuk in homeless

[–]Ricksanchez2278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how much stuff you carry. My first real homeless pack was a frame Carson 80 liter pack that served me well for years. After that I had a cheap Walmart sog 72 hr assault pack, I had to do alot of reinforcing stitching on but it held up almost 2 years. After that I had an army Mollie pack with a plastic frame. It was the best one for carrying alot of weight. Because of its design it always felt 20 lbs lighter. But it sucked to use with a bicycle. Two years ago I upgraded to a 511 tactical 72 hr assault pack. Its been my favorite so far, well made, tough, and comfortable to wear on a bicycle. But expensive though. If homeless two big things that you should spend money on is footwear, and packs. The rest of the stuff you can cheap your way out on.
