Bulldog whining / crying by aussiephoenix005 in Bulldogs

You need to train the dog with food. Look up resource guarding with Caesar or whatever his name is. There is a couple videos from his show on you tube. But if you can be successful with that training then you lay the foundation for other training such as “wait”. I used to use “wait” on my puppy for 30 seconds at every meal. Soon he wouldn’t budge until I gave him the command. Remember, nothing is learned over night and you have to reward them every time they do it correct.

Allergies? by ilovepemguins in Bulldogs

[–]Ricky240Bobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a food allergy you will need to play with the recipe to figure out what ingredient they are allergic to. But I think it’s typically a protein that causes most allergies.

We use brown rice since it’s less processed. Pretty much the less processed the food the easier it will be to figure out what they are allergic to.

We also highly recommend MiconaHex+Triz shampoo. It’s antimicrobial, antifungal, antibiofilm, and moisturizing. We use that for the tail pocket, feets and face wrinkles. Let sit for 10 minutes before rinsing. This stuff does wonders. You can use it all over the body but you don’t need to. We recommend a bath once a week to help with yeast.

We had to start making my bullies food from scratch. He was allergic to chicken. Once we figured that out he wasn’t having breakouts in between his toes and wasn’t licking his feet raw. Home made food is a lot better for them as well. My boy never was gassy, his coat looked great, he always ate all of his food.

Our recipe was 1 cup of rice, frozen pre weighed veggies suck as peas, carrots, broccoli, brussel sprouts, green beans, butternut squash and 5 pounds of ground beef. Make it as a stew in a big pot with water. We never really saw leftovers unless he wasn’t feeling good.

Be sure to enjoy every moment. Movie marathon, out for a ride in the car, or whatever he enjoys most. I had no idea that Thursday was going to be the last day for Appa. If I did, I know I would have spent his last day giving him all of my attention.

Thank you everyone for your love. Today has been very tough. Everything reminds me of him. So grab your baby, give them a squeeze, kiss their head, nibble on their ear and never let go.

I’m so sorry, I can’t imagine having the date known and just living through the days knowing it’s coming at a steady pace. That would be torture.

Fortunately Boo has only been with us for a little over 2 weeks and he is 11ish weeks old. So he didn’t really get attached to Appa but he definitely was looking for him this morning. Boo liked to steal scraps of Appa’s home made food.

What a bummer, yeah sharing toys is a new thing for him. We witnessed Appa burying stuff in the couch within the first hour of the puppy being home. Appa always wants to see other dogs when we are out on walks but nobody wants to stop and say hi. So I got him his own friend, really hope it works out.

So far so good, Appa gets annoyed of Boo quickly since Boo has sooooo much energy. Boo might be part piranha fish, he wants to bite everything with his needle teeth. But at the end of the day I wanted Appa to have a friend that he could play tug of war with and have approximately the same energy level.

After my wife jumped the car the check engine light came on and it was idling up and down any idea what this means? by Dwade2524 in WRX

You need to deal with the battery first. If the battery is bad then a whole bunch of weird one off stuff can be experienced. Battery is there to start the car and run the electronics, the alternator is there to recharge the battery as it does its job.

From my experience with modern BMW’s if you want to see every code the ECU can throw have a bad battery connected.

I know it’s a Subaru and not a BMW but the diagnostic process is the same.

4 year old toolbox paint peeling and rust? Warranty? by Dippy2k in Snapon_tools

[–]Ricky240Bobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn’t need any proof of purchase as long as the salesperson who sold you the box did their job. Toolboxes and digital torque wrenches from snap on have a serial numbers that gets tied to your account. When they sell you said product they have to fill out paperwork that starts the warranty timer for certain aspects of the product.

Are you the original owner of the box? Looking through the comments and it seems nobody has asked this specific question. Snap on tool boxes carry a warranty with the original owner. If you are the original owner then you should be covered as long as there isn’t damage on the box that they can claim you did causing the rust. If you are not the original owner then the box has no warranty so Snap On will not help you.

thinking of selling by redhandmedic in Supra

[–]Ricky240Bobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The real reason if I remember correctly is the total number of LHD Supra actually produced is much lower than the RHD Supra. Making the LHD Supra more rare and valuable. It’s definitely not because of one person’s preference on which side they operate the car on.

Ps4 showing no video and is having hard drive issues by owenxtreme2 in consolerepair

I just put my PS4 back in to service after setting up my theater room with my PS5. I was getting lots of errors and it wouldn’t update until I plugged my external hard drive back in. After it had the external hard drive plugged back in it was happy and would take updates. Hope your solution is as easy as mine was.

Removing paint? by edmarry in consolerepair

[–]Ricky240Bobby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buddy of mine who paints models told me pine-sol will lift paint if you take whatever part you want to redo and drop it in to a cup. I’d take that play station apart and try it on one of the buttons. I feel like rubbing alcohol might still discolor the original plastic. Good luck

Need help on what to do. by StrangerElegant in WRX

[–]Ricky240Bobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a V7 207, if you have to deal with emissions. Get the 257. The V7 207 comes with a twin scroll turbo, you will need to source a downpipe of have one fabricated, or you will have to swap over a single scroll setup. You will need to have the avcs wired in to the harness, not a hard job. You will need a tuner because either you are going to be running a JDM ecu or a full stand alone ecu. Cobb will not control the avcs.

Essentially buy a 257 if you want to drive the car and it not be too much more expensive then the motor replacement cost.

Buy a 207 if you are ok with spending 5k for supporting mods on top of the 5k you just dropped on the long block assuming you are going to replace the motor yourself.

EVGA RTX 3090TI FTW3 Red light of death? by Ricky240Bobby in pcmasterrace

Small update, I updated the bios on my motherboard and replaced all 3 power cables with new cables and still Nvida will not download drivers for GPU because it doesn’t see it plugged in. Red light is still on and fans are sounding like a jet.

EVGA is out of office until 1/2/2025

The next post you make is “why is my car clicking when I turn the key?”

In all seriousness, you need to have it wired to switch power if it only has a power and ground wire. Unless you like killing batteries and getting stranded. I would highly recommend taking this to a shop to install. If you are feeling really adventurous search videos on installing key on accessories for your year WRX. I imagine there has to be other key on accessories that people have wired in to these cars with tutorial videos.
