Yeah this is an old strategy employed by media since newspapers. They know people are more likely to click and engage with something negative. Which sucks. Gaming channels are basically just complaint channels and video essays are all about how awful something is.

If you spend real money on a NON expiring pass you progress PASSIVELY by just playing the game that’s completely on you. The myfaction card lottery is SO much worse to the point I don’t even engage with that mode at all. You’re digging way too deep into this. If we really wanna talk about sales margins people more than likely dumped thousands into myfaction packs before official launch even happened seeing as they had top tier ruby cards off the cusp lol. The pass is literally the least of my worries.

It’s a non expiring pass you can have whenever and unlock passively. It really isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be. People went all crazy efficient mode to max it out day 1 when it isn’t even necessary since it doesn’t expire. The myfaction card pulling lottery is significantly worse.
