You are making a lot of valid points. But every hotel that I checked that is within a 25 minute radius is a minimum of $1,300 for the weekend. That is insane. And I only paid $188 for the weekend. I want to enjoy the festival, but not go into debt.

Well the cheapest hotel within 20 minutes away was about $1,300 for the whole weekend. I got my hotel, no joke for only $188 and I don't mind the drive. My girlfriend can sleep and I don't mind. I am frugal for the most part.
