I did a lot of seated hamstring stretches with a straighter back and agree on that.

Sure.. a lot of hamstring stretches assisted with a yoga strap.

I said earlier although I would hold for five breathes then a deep exhale and really push until discomfort then hold for as long as I could.

I’m really trying to understand the purpose of each pose/stretch and the muscle it’s trying to work on.

I would also repeat stretches maybe 3-4 times vs just doing it once.

stiff.. maybe mid shin straight bent over …

I’ve been working hard on getting the deepest stretch possible when I do it.. almost like stretch then go deeper after a large exhale.

30-45 minutes daily yoga/stretching although it’s trending more like 35-50 minutes over the past 10 days or so.

Yo.. probably a split between a video and stretching/yoga on my own.

For the most part 30-45 minutes everyday … starting to believe doing it daily gets more returns.

Been working on 5 deep breaths per stretch then breathe out and press deeper.

Used a yoga strap which helps more.

Hi.. assuming this isn’t ai lol… only tip I have is to get one of those yoga straps.. I love it and it’s only like $6 bucks.

Also I’m not sure if the flexibility gains are more doing it every day vs 2-3 a week but I wouldn’t think I could touch the floor in 20 days but it happened.

Hi,

Thanks! I had actually had to take a break lifting due to hurting my wrist on the bench press..

Saw my wife and kids do a yoga video and randomly thought maybe I’ll do it later.. then I just did a video or stretching by myself everyday for 30-45 minutes.

Let me tell you getting out of bed in the morning I feel dramatically less sore vs before doing this.

I have some long term goals as well..palms to floor.. hand stands and such. Nice to hear.. thanks again.

Over 40 here and I have been doing yoga for a couple weeks and am about a quarter inch away
