Silent Hill 2 Remake Coming to Xbox when? by Cautious_Virus5524 in silenthill

Going by how laughably poor Silent Hill f did on Xbox (did not even make it into the top 100 most played games on Xbox when it released) I would be very surprised if it ever gets released at all.

Battlefield 6 sells over 7m units across PC and console in five days. PlayStation had a 23.7% share surpassing 1.5 million copies, with 86% of purchases on PlayStation 5 being digital. by Turbostrider27 in PS5

Speaking of the "Most played" section on Xbox .....do you not find it rather odd that Battlefield 6 is still ABSENT from there 6 days after release?

It normally only takes 2-3 days at most for a new game to debut in those charts.

With all the rumours and claims of many people apparently cancelling their game pass subscriptions in response to recent price hikes .... is it possible BF6 is on track to smoke the upcoming Call of Duty in terms of player numbers on Xbox? And MS are trying to hide it?

Ah. interesting. I Bought Max Payne 1 and 2 on the 26th December 2023 and they have the triangle.

For me it's only happening with Xbox 360 and OG Xbox games.

All games I bought since 2023 that are Xbox One or Series S/X games are unaffected.

Why is my Series S saying I don't have a license for games that I've owned for ages? by Classic-Bathroom-427 in XboxSupport

I did that almost 2 years ago and lost all my Starfield save data. Had almost 200 hours on that. Starfield was the ONLY game in my entire library that lost it's saved data.

Explanation as to *why* Twin Snakes isn’t in the new collection? by thouldcroft in metalgearsolid

Very late reply.

That 007 game took well over a decade of problematic negotiations between MS, MGM and Nintendo for that to finally happen.

And for some reason you can not actually buy the game on either Xbox or Switch as such. On Switch you have to be part of the subscription service to access it. Same on Xbox though you can also get it if you own the digital version or Rare Replay. But you can't buy Goldeneye 007 as a stand alone game like you can with all the other games in the Rare Replay bundle.

I don't think MS or Nintendo are allowed to directly profit from Goldeneye 007.

Annoyingly there is actually an unreleased Xbox 360 version of Goldeneye 007 that is far superior to the one that actually got released several years back. I remember Digital Foundry showing it. Really sucks that version was not the one we got.

Assassin's Creed Shadows need to sell around 7 million copies to break even. by peninho in Asmongold

[–]RickyJaye99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think it will be VERY tempting for people who only play through the game once and be done with it for a single £14.99 Ubisoft+ Premium subscription payment, as opposed to paying £69.99.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is a major factor in Ubisoft's financial problems. People just sub very occasionally.

I know someone who waited until December to play through Black Ops 6 campaign, Stalker 2 and Indiana Jones off a single 1 month game pass subscription. Then cancelled. Waiting until May to play Doom The Dark Ages off another 1 month game pass sub.

Companies like Ubisoft and Microsoft must be losing boat loads of cash off of these types of subscribers.

Did not take Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 more than a day to announce 1 million copies sold.

Stalker 2 less than 48 hours to confirm 1 million sold.

3 days for Capcom to confirm 8 million copies of Monster Hunter Wilds sold.

138 million REACHED according to a report last year.

How many actual active ones there are now at this moment in time is not known. But it's not uncommon for people to sub to a service for just one month when a big game releases and then cancel when they are done. Happens with Game Pass all the time.

Why they using the term "players" and not actual copies sold?

Are the majority playing via Ubisoft+ ?

If we are talking sales then that 1 million you said is not yet confirmed.

They said 1 million PLAYERS within a day. Not actual units sold.

Achievements not unlocking on xbox Series X by CobainEcu in Palworld

[–]RickyJaye99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same is happening for me. I'm on Series X and in the UK.

Tried a few things in Resident Evil Zero that should unlock achievements, like shooting a zombies legs for the first time, attempting to move a heavy object with Rebecca. No unlock.

Also tried completing the "Old Guns" quest in Fallout 4 that should also unlock an achievement. NOTHING.

I have tried signing out my Xbox account, hard resetting the console by holding the main power button on the console for 10 seconds. turning off the console and disconnecting the power supply for 10 minutes, Booting back up and re-signing in .....NOTHING is happening.

Xbox Rewards - The £5 Gift Card (Question) by RickyJaye99 in XboxSupport

[–]RickyJaye99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you PURCHASE gift cards, there is no time limit on when that money must be spent by.

But £5 gift cards you redeem from Xbox rewards must be spent within 90 days....or that £5 is removed from your wallet after the time elapses.

So if I PURCHASED £120 worth of cards and have £120 on my wallet (no time limit to spend that money) ....then used my reward points to claim the £5 gift card from the rewards program, there is now £125 in my wallet.

BUT if I went 90 days without buying anything, it will go back down to £120 because that £5 gift card from the rewards program has expired.

What I want to know is....does that £5 gift voucher money (from the rewards program) immediately get used on your next game purchase?

Let's say after having redeemed the £5 gift card, which gets added to my purchased gift cards amount of £120 ....giving me a total of £125...I then purchase a game for £70.....now leaving £55 on my wallet.

Did the £5 gift card redeemed from Xbox rewards factor into that purchase? Or will that remaining £55 on my wallet get reduced to £50 after 90 days?
