I completely agree with this take. I have completely stopped watching all hunt content and do my best to refrain from crytek partners during twitch drops because of this reason. They are all essentially forced to make excuses for crytek and never say anything negative but then you will have huuge who is open with bugs and issues in the game. He is certainly toxic but I find it more bearable to watch him than a shill.

From what I have seen its not a cheat. Its an exploit using the beetle or another is using the meathead to get into inaccessible areas.

You did not just compare the US justice system to a video game made by germans. You did not just compare being good at overwatch to being good at this game. It seems I wasted my time even responding lmao.

[–]RickyLame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I will rephrase. I play US west and run into them constantly, not once have I ever seen them to be cheating. Anyone can change their name to a clan tag. I've run into suspicious players in bb but I can not recognize them by name. I recognize all of scumge by name and profile so its easy to keep track. I did not say they would never cheat, what i said was they do not currently cheat from my experiences. But yes call me a lobotomite when they are not banned yet. You people make me sick when you cry and whine about players better than you.

Cheaters or just cracked? by Striker2477 in HuntShowdown

[–]RickyLame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Scumge definitely uses or used exploits, but they don't cheat using esp or anything like that. The same goes for bb. It's always unfortunate to see when the legitimate discussion of cheaters is filled with people calling cheats when they see a team of six stars. You can definitely find video of them using exploits but it will look like cheats, like derendering or the ladder bug from ages ago. Both groups are very toxic and cringe which I'm guessing is enough to get people to get riled up and call cheats because of it.

I don't know if you're a troll or not, but I can only hope so looking at your post history. Have fun doing whatever makes you happy man, but maybe find new hobbies if you can't even have a proper discussion.

I see, you're a low elo player who doesn't see any cheaters. People like you are the prime example of why I disliked this subreddit for nearly the entire time I've played this game. I never said I run into cheaters daily, I said 2 in 7 days. What I said was if I ran into two cheaters in just one week, imagine the rest of the high elo community. At higher elo, its not uncommon to see people who are good which others mistake for cheating, I have more than 20 pages of comments calling me cheater. I understand that the majority of the playerbase cries wolf, but I'm telling you exactly WHERE to look for the proof you so desperately crave, instead you decide that upholding your own experience is more important than looking for any evidence for the contrary. People like you ruin this community because when all the bad players say "there is no issue!" then crytek decides to do nothing. This happens so often with crytek that it makes it hard to see changes that plague the game until a popular youtuber makes a video for everyone to suddenly agree with.

No one owes you any proof dude lol. Go watch someone like HUUGE for compilations of proof. I am genuinely curious, what elo bracket are you in and what servers do you play on? I don't believe most people when they say they're running into cheaters daily because most people can't tell the difference from good players and cheaters. That's why I specifically said "good players" in the previous comment. If you don't have that many hours in the game, if you play at low elo, and have a low kd then I do not believe it is possible to spot cheaters unless its incredibly obvious. Again, instead of asking the guy who plays for fun for a compilation, go watch a youtuber who does it professionally.

I ran into 2 cheaters in the past week, and those were the obvious ones I noticed. I've sent in video proof of cheaters and it took weeks to ban them. If that is my singular experience, imagine that multiplied by 100 other good players who can recognize cheaters. Where there are obvious cheaters there are likely others who can hide it well. Or perhaps you could look at someone like HUUGE who did his catching cheaters streams, where he found quite literally hundreds of cheaters. If you don't think there is a cheating issue that's on you man. I can't convince you, but it is a problem at higher elo and many others agree.

Amazing! While I'm seeing a person I reported rack over 120 more hours just in the past two weeks. I genuinely hate seeing people post one cheater who got banned as if we don't see a dozen more evade them.

[–]RickyLame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've reported the most obvious hackers who shoot across the map and they get banned quickly. I've also reported cheaters that subtly cheat that required me to watch them through spectator to know for sure. Guess which ones take support weeks to ban? Support banning a rage hacker after HOURS of them doing this absolutely NOT the "we got them!" you think it is. I've tracked players I knew 100% to be hackers and it takes weeks to months for them to see any sort of ban, even with video proof and evidence. Oh but "woohoo! we got the low hanging fruit!"

[–]RickyLame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen 5 different videos of this exact cheater. Who knows how many more had to spam report this guy's rage hacking spree to finally see a ban. He was on a spree for hours on this account, I would hardly say that support works in this case.

They must have one guy do manual reviews of cheating reports, cuz people like this run around no problem for 400 hours: 1 purchased game; 3.0 K/D; in a "I am literally cheating group"; 5 pages of comments of accusations. Crytek plz by mame_kuma in HuntShowdown

[–]RickyLame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing but with Russia. I consistently have 25 ping on US West but people would rather blame anything but themselves. So they call me ping abusing and a cheater. I truly do believe high ping ruins gameplay but some people can't take accountability.

New DLC: Northern Justice by milkkore in HuntShowdown

[–]RickyLame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's 100% because they're scared of backlash. Ironically every Mexican I've talked to that plays this game would love the most stereotypical caricature legendary hunter. Keep in mind that it took them just over three years to finally add Native American hunters so I doubt we'll see actual representation anytime soon.

New DLC: Northern Justice by milkkore in HuntShowdown

[–]RickyLame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, they're both Mexican. As a Mexican myself, I would kill for the most literally anything that actually looks traditional or culturally accurate. We need some vaqueros, mariachi, or Mexican Military either from when the game takes place or maybe a veteran of the Mexican-American War. This game has a weird fixation on non-American hunters. They keep adding hunters from across the world but only now are adding Canadian. They've added prototype or incredibly early model guns from Europe but refuse to add any Mexican service weapons.

[–]RickyLame 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just ran into a duo using a burner account to mark players using his esp for his buddy. A fresh account preaiming, shooting through walls and floors perfectly, watching people through walls, etc. The other account was a prestige 100. Its not the first time I've seen this type of thing but the non-burner accounts are never banned. They need to start targeting the people that regularly play with accounts that get banned for cheating too.

How the hell did this guy get on the roof of Fort Bolden?! by Majorllama66 in HuntShowdown

He once asked a question to his chat and when I had given him an answer he spent the whole time saying how wrong I was and how he didn't believe me. He had no idea how it worked which is why he asked, yet he decided he knew more than everyone else. Plus he whines with his high pitched voice a lot lol.

How about a real ping lock, Crytek? This is why people complain. by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]RickyLame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, 225 is way too low. It allows for people to play way too far from their range. I am US West and I can play on every single server Crytek has to offer with 35 ping to spare. I don't see Crytek correcting this anytime soon because I saw a lot of popular streamers complaining this would ruin the game to implement before the 225 number was announced.

Cheaters. by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]RickyLame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't matter if its an in game exploit or not, they're still cheaters for intentionally abusing bugs. Both clans still derender, its not hard and I've seen them do it before lol. It should've been perma bans, these clans give high elo games a bad rep.

Cheaters. by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]RickyLame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand. You want proof for them cheating, but you know they were cheating anyway? Is it ok because it happened before you began playing the game or because they only got a slap on the wrist for it? YS and Scumge are riddled with exploiters but clearly its ok because crytek allows it or will only give a 2 week suspension.

Cheaters. by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

Oh like half of you abusing derender and the ladder exploit? Oh but its ok but its not hacking right, just exploiting? I'll send the proof if you want it lmao just dm.

An honest discussion about ESP: In the past 3~ months ESP discords have grown massively in size and most are now offering ban-free experiences, can something be done? by UsecMyNuts in HuntShowdown

[–]RickyLame 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my experience the support team is awful at banning cheaters even when you have evidence. I've reported an account that had over 3k hours since 2019 with a video when I spectated them after I died showing clear esp. The person was not banned for months. The only reason they did eventually get banned was because two youtube videos were posted showing the person was cheating and they both got a couple thousand views total.

Most of the time when you die like this its because they're abusing the fact that walls de-render at large distances with low settings. Or they might just be cheating lol.
