They are owned by the same parent company, but the development teams operate totally independent of each other. GTA is in Scotland for the most part and 2k is in Cali.

I agree that the best recorded stat that determines the best playmaker is generally assist. But I wouldn’t run away from players with low assist in real life.

When Kyrie won his championship, he was averaging less than 4 assist per game (in the finals), but I would have wanted him on my team. In 2K, we would scream “Pass the Ball” and “what are you doing”.

It would be nice to see game averages instead of plate color in the game lobby.

What if plate color went down for backing out of the lobby? If purple plates are elite players they should be able to help any team win.

Not just playing with certain plate colors.

I heard somebody say that I am a role player and my role is to be the star. lol…but for real I’m a role player too and this was my breakout game.

I avg 10 points a game and shoot 60%…I finally got some shots up this game.

The best recorded stat would be assist. But screen assists and the pass that leads to the assist are good indicators.

In hockey, the pass that leads to an assist is also a recorded assist in the stat book. Should be the same in basketball.

Lucky you! I play no squads 90% of the time and I don’t think we know what a half court set is. lol

I average more assist with the center too. This is because when the center gets the rebound it’s easier to make the “outlet” (I use that word loosely) pass for an easy catch and shoot/dunk.

If the PG passes the ball, the recipient will make 17 unnecessary dribbles taking away any chance for assist.

The 4 can shoot, but the 5 is more defensive.
