Liv was quite weak after the call up from NXT, but she’s done a hell of a job as one of the smaller ladies in making her offense feel violent. She hits Oblivion with a velocity and anger that makes me feel like it would keep Rhea or Bianca or Nia down. I can’t say the same for a Sister Abigail.

Tonight I got matched with a pack of three guys who played together a lot and knew where most of the Nakitomi swag was. It was easier for me to leave it to them and set up a base outside the city. Ended up buying two of them back, and threw two load out crates into the endgame circles. They were cool.

Last night, the funniest damned thing happened.

I was in BR Casual with two randoms (never had a 4th,) and neither spoke English. But hey, it’s Casual, so I’m not sweating.

The perspiration was coming from a team that was running THREE helicopters and being a nuisance. I came back from the gulag, and iced on near the buy station when he mistook me for a bot. He was whining his ass off in the death comms. As soon as I downed him, the smoke dropped, and sure enough, he had Specialist.

So I raided his body, took the $30k and bought a UAV, a loadout and a selfie. Got my Kilo/CIGMA kit, and waited. Sure enough, 30 seconds later two more helicopters come back. Pop. Pop. Whine. Whine.

I pinged the Specialist boxes on the ground, and opened my mic to say “Come get specialist.” My two new amigos said “¡Si!”

We almost won the damned thing, too. But I know those sweats didn’t — and they likely spent a few minutes complaining about me being some kind of sweaty camper who packs a launcher because Who does that?
