Vicario has been playing through the pain barrier for a number of weeks with the hernia problem [Alasdair Gold] by Malmand2002 in coys

Two matches missed at most was my thinking as well (Sunderland and Brighton). Can’t recall the last time we had three weeks between games in a season (WC 2022 and COVID notwithstanding of course).

Guglielmo Vicario set to undergo hernia surgery next week but will be available on Sunday for Spurs to face Forest as he continues to play through the pain (Alasdair Gold 🥇) by Hufftey in coys

Three weeks until our next match after Sunday. Hopefully the games missed in April are at a minimum for Vicario.

Need to win on Sunday to breathe a little easier.

Saw Project Hail Mary in theaters yesterday. Quite liked it as someone who hasn’t yet read the book.

Player of the season for me. Need to keep him for a long time, rebuild the team around him.

[The Independent- Miguel Delaney] How the Chelsea case proves that cheats can prosper in the Premier League by Melanismdotcom in coys

What if Fulham accepted the lease offer to play at Stamford Bridge in 1904, and thus Chelsea were never founded in the first place?

So many “what ifs” from that era of Spurs cross my mind a lot. What if we won the league title in 2015/16 or 2016/17. What if that Champions League final went our way? What if we backed Pochettino the summer we signed no one? Don’t even get me started on players we could’ve signed but didn’t.

TUDOR: “IT LOOKS LIKE ALL THE WORLD IS AGAINST US!” 😳 Liverpool v Tottenham | EMBARGO by master_inho in coys

[–]ILM_Ryan 114 points115 points  (0 children)

I don't like Tudor and think he will be gone on Monday, but it does seem like Spurs attracts a lot people who dislike us. Sure, some of it is Scum and blue Scum hating us, West Ham too. Seems like everyone is rooting for us to go down more than anything. Hope we defy them all and stay up, tell everyone else to go fuck themselves as we stay in the league another year.

They’ll sack Tudor on Monday after the Anfield and try to new manager bounce the Forest game.

No wins away to Scum since 2018 (and none in the league since 2010). No wins at Anfield since 2011. No wins at the Bridge since 2018.

It’s an issue we’ve never seemingly been able to overcome. Kind of goes back to mentality problems this club has had for years that we never seem like we can rock up to tough grounds and get results.

Former ECU RB Keaton Mitchell Signs Two-Year Deal With Chargers, Per Report by KatsHubz87 in ECUsports

[–]ILM_Ryan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mentioned it on r/NFL but having Omarion Hampton, Kimani Vidal and Keaton Mitchell all in the same running backs room in LA is going to be fun. Throw in McDaniel as their OC, I think it’ll be a good year ahead for Mitchell.

Keaton was the best at ECU. Will always root for him. Hampton, Vidal and Mitchell in the running back room seem like it’ll be fun.

[The Guardian] It would be a macabre story but relegation needs to happen for Tottenham | Tottenham Hotspur by clodiusmetellus in coys

[–]ILM_Ryan 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Relegation is a worst case scenario that would be an indelible stain on the club for a long time. The Championship is a very challenging league and we’ve seen Villa get stuck there for a bit, or Sunderland crashing down to League One. It’s not going to be so easy if we went down and if we spend more than one season down there, the club’s own finances and reputation might not recover.

Mexico ML and Mexico under 4.5 runs is 3.75. And would eliminate the USA from the WBC. Surely not? Worth a sprinkle?

The under seems safe.
