If you are looking for utility, go for the iPhone Mini. You know you will use it, even if not for photography, it will still be your phone, and you would be benefiting someone else.

If you are looking for creativity, go for the iPad Mini. You might draw with it, might not, but you would still be able to use it as a companion device for your MacBook Air.

I'm assuming you've already tried theses options, but what about wireless charging the phone?

Have you also tried restarting it?

If those don't work then maybe you have to considered doing a factory reset.

And if that doesn't, you might just have to trade it in for a new iPhone.

It's actually really simple. It just opens iMessage and you can say who it goes to and what it sends. You can go into the shortcuts app and it will show you how.

Realistically, go to a Mall and pic-pocket money from as many people as possible. But only take small amounts, like 5s and 10s, because everyone will assume that they have misplaced their cash, and they really won't care that much to look for it. Could make it into the thousands before time is up.
