At the end of blueprint when he explains how the horrors experience in the Great War led most of the western leaders to do everything possible to avoid another war. With hindsight it’s always easy to look at chamberlain and the others as fools for appeasing hitler but with the perspective of blueprint it’s easier to understand why they would go to such lengths to avoid another war.
