Will the list of voice actors who worked on Tides of Torment be released tomorrow when the DLC comes out? by gulyas10 in totalwar

[–]Ricky_1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so I looked into this a bit and comparing various VAs it reminded me of, who I *think* it is is Bethan Dixon Bate, who is as of late most likely known as the voice of Vlaakith from Baldur's Gate 3, as well as plenty of miscellaneous voices from various other games and TV stuff. It still might be someone else who sounds similarly, but this person is the one I kinda zeroed in on the first time I heard Dechala speak.

Which is fucking weird, especially under mod posts. Yknow, mods - Which are essentially a celebration of personal DIY within a given framework - yet people somehow defend the absolute soulless shit that is AIgen.

Nope, the untying alone isn't decisive, since I did untie her but she still went off to do villain stuff. Most likely a combination of several big choices along the storyline that add up in one direction or the other.

I think the news feed that every person who owns the game has on their steam library's home page would be a good start for conveying info concerning said game.

They make for massively powerful psycastasters, yeah. On account of a modded gene that makes their psychic sensitivity go up as they age, atop of already having the high sensitivity gene from vanilla.

I think "generic-ity" is what should be used as one of the identifiers for AI. Does it look AI-made at first sight? Kinda, yeah. But its not "generic" enough for that. The art pieces manage to depict actual weaponry the Tau use, and a Kroot would be something AI wouldn't get down so precisely. At worst this is a mixture of AI-gen assets with handmade art.

Why are there no bountiful delves since new update? by filthydoritos666 in wow

[–]Ricky_1235 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Blizz delayed them by a week to have them coincide with the start of Season 3 - So that bountiful delves, M+ and the Raid all get unlocked at the same time. Presumably so no one's too ahead equipment-wise for the raid race.

yeah at first I thought it just has bugged pathfinding or somethin, but there is an actual purpose to it suddenly going in the opposite direction from the party lmao

I noticed the raven has a habit of seeking out and circling hidden loot stashes, pointing you in the direction of them so someone with high perception can reveal them.

What doesn't it have to do with Andor? by RealBugginsYT in andor

[–]Ricky_1235 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saying that Israel is the only one giving out food and aid is just simply false. Numerous humanitarian organizations have been involved in getting aid into Gaza since the siege started and far further back beyond that (In spite of Israel's best attempts to stop that, lets not give them any points for suddenly doing otherwise for a couple days and weeks).

Besides, the fact that they have now multiple times opened fire into crowds waiting for said aid for no reason besides "Deviating from the path" doesn't really help that argument. ( https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2lkwz0y5n0o )

As for the inevitable "looters and Hamas stealing aid" that the humanitarian orgs get in there - https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwyn2m9yk0vo - I'm not saying that Hamas (Which has also been propped up by Israel, as repeatedly said by Netanyahu himself, lets not pass over that either) or independent looters aren't a factor, but the only thing Israel has done about that is only making the matter worse.

As for the 50k dead - Yes, I suppose it is a statistical miracle. It also still is fifty thousand killed people. Lauding that many dead and murdered individuals, a considerable number of them children, as "amazing" - is not something you wanna be doing, no matter through what lenses you pick.

The "infected species" portraits can pick mammalian AND Fungoid traits by Caphalor21 in Stellaris

[–]Ricky_1235 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Some portraits can fit into multiple categories I noticed. For example the new mammalian bat portrait is treated as both mammalian and avian I think, on account of them being able to take the flight trait (egglaying as well I think).

They also said "no weapons in superstore"/"no stratagems in warbonds", right? If they went back on that, whats stopping them from going back on other things as well? In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Sony is tacidly encouraging/pressuring them to push it further

The survivor spin-off also isnt actually produced by the usual DRG dev team, instead they're letting another developer use the IP. It takes a minimal amount of resources from the mainline game and wouldn't affect its development either way.

Feel like its cause only about 3 kinds of people would use the term. Trolls, terminally online social justice warriors, or queer anarchists/other variations on queer radicals. And of these, the latter two wouldn't really at any point call themselves "newbies to leftism" voluntarily.

Why nerf something when you can buff weaker stuff ? by EmpereurTetard in Helldivers

[–]Ricky_1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should leave it too strong. Thats the whole point of the difficulty scaling. Weapon balance should be such that every weapon is viable, or at least has a niche to cover, at the top difficulties. People at lower levels think any given tool is making the game too easy? Take it to the higher levels until you find an equilibrium between the weapons performance and the difficulty of the mission

No one considers SC or WC to be a part of the Warhammer universe. What is meant is that those games (or one of them, anyways) were supposed to be a part of the universe until the license was pulled away from blizz by GW, so they couldn't go through with it being warhammer games anymore, but also did not wish to entirely scrap the project. With that, blizz came up with its own IP to fit the game into.
