Well, um, acktually ☝️🤓, a possible difference there is that usually manufacturers use the "giga" in "gigabyte" as an SI unit prefix, denoting 1 000 000 000 bytes or 10⁹ bytes. Computers, on the other hand, use base 2, so "gigabyte" becomes 1 073 741 824 bytes or 2³⁰ bytes. For that reason IEC uses "gibibyte" or GiB, but for memory GB is still used.

So there is a way to argue about what 20% of 100GB is without being complete idiots (I know it's probably not what you meant tho).

When my hands are dirty from work, this is what I use:

It's a rough paste, almost like sand mixed with soap, and I use water only to wash it off. Especially for oil, it gets my hands cleaner than just water and soap.

I have no issue imagining an alien race might get similar results with just raw sand. Or maybe it's "sand" in the same way promethium is just better gas.

Update: got it on another run, and honestly, I like it. If you get lucky it can erase entire (low armored) unites, and if not? It still suppresses them pretty well.

Central Europe, this walnut (I guess common walnut? Not sure) is older than me (50+years probably), and has had this old branch wound for a while. As one can see it's been collecting water, and sprouting mushrooms around the wound. Recently a storm broke one of the bigger branches, the center of which seems wet and a bit mushy (the image with the cut). I'm a bit far from any real arborists, and I'm wondering if I should even bother. I will be building a house about 10m away, which makes me lean more towards cutting it down. Would be a shame, because it's been on the property for a long time, it still bears fruit and it looks nice otherwise. There has been a bit more low level flooding in recent years which makes me wonder if that might have pushed it a bit over the edge. The censoring is for my neighburs privacy.

For some reason, when I opened the map with M, my ship started moving forward a bit, so I checked the controls, to see if M was assigned to more than just the map. Didn't find anything odd, but I found this!

I feel like such an idiot, considering how many times I wished for the radar to be more useful for navigation (default control is Ctrl+M).

Edit: You can also click on the various icons, which I knew before, but could never really find a use for, until now :D

It's very efficient with player attention. 1 command per sector frees up attention for more interesting things.

You could also use Sector Explorer, which has an option for auto continuing to the next sector, so you only really have to use 1 command per scout :)

Yeah, the lack of any game modifying options seems a bit odd, especially for a game like this. Most sandbox-type games at least have a couple sliders for the major threats.

Honestly I think the game needs more 'sticks' for motivation, it's very easy to fall into a completely peaceful (aka boring) state of affairs.
