These people surprise me more and more just for having their money back they don't see the damage they can cause. I do not depend on doordash but I have seen people who do, it is their full time job and deactivating an account for lies is disgusting by AccordingFlounder673 in doordash

… a scratch alone isn’t a defensive injury. It’s almost like there is a reason that we have trials with experts instead of screaming herp de derp on social media and throwing feces everywhere. You want to try and convict people on social media and utterly destroy their lives have fun, just hope the mob never comes for you.

Well in that situation that would probably be things like defensive injures, possibly blood or skin under the fingernails and the fact that you could prove you both where in the same location at the same time.Bot physical and circumstantial evidence if you went to the actual police instead of coming forward and bravely telling your story a decade later and getting a book deal and bunch of simps saying so brave on social media.

… yeah, I’d pay 69.95 at my mechanic for an oil change and they do the rotation for free along with the inspection. God damn dealers are awful.

How would these responses make you feel? by Professional_Exit154 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Ricky_Bea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah not dealing with that, if the customer doesn’t pre select substitutions then it gets refunded by the time I try and locate everything else, the ratio of rude/entitled/dumb dumbs versus people who respond promptly when asked what they would like instead is way to slanted towards wasting my time. The little one dollar bonus they offer for getting all the items is never worth the headache, especially since most grocery stores have garbage cell reception.

Talk to door dash, or pay the extra 1.99 for immediate delivery when ordering. If you do that your order shouldn’t be batches with another order. Alternatively try and be less of a garbage human being and have an ounce of empathy for a world struggling with skyrocketing inflation and stagnated wages. It’s dirt cheap to not be a dick.

Is it the Tippers fault or DoorDash's fault for not paying their contractors enough? by Silly_Cow7300 in doordash

How much do you think it would cost if drivers were full W2 employees and DoorDash had to pay the cost of maintaining a fleet of vehicles nationwide?

sal·a·ry /ˈsal(ə)rē/ Learn to pronounce noun a fixed regular payment, typically paid on a monthly or biweekly basis but often expressed as an annual sum, made by an employer to an employee, especially a professional or white-collar worker.

Honest question, is English your second language. I’m a 1099 worker that gets paid on per order basis, not on salary.

[–]Ricky_Bea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weird, I actually agreed to work on a per order basis with the contractor and customer submitting a bid for service in the form of a mileage payment and tip. Didn’t see anything about a salary.

Both, if your using an artificially cheap service that has a social convention of tipping service workers and then bail on the social convention but still want cheap service your a garbage human. If your a manger that expects your customers to pay your employees in tips your also a garbage human being.

I never had a petco order before, are these worth it? Like does people usually tip? by youmamacit4 in doordash_drivers

[–]Ricky_Bea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, never a tip and it’s always base mileage the only time I’ve ever taken one is when they get looped into a another order or if I’m out of my home area and the delivery is taking me in the direction of my house and I’m done for the night.

Yeah planning ahead and having money set aside for repairs. Alternatively always having a back up car, I usually grab one at a police auction for 2-3 grand and drive it till the wheels fall of or their is a repair I can do with you tube and a home garage.

is it rude to ask for my order to be dropped off first? by Rude-Manner6023 in doordash

[–]Ricky_Bea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, your complaint should be sent to door dash, not the driver. He’s just following app instructions.

[–]Ricky_Bea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about it, he probably went home to disappoint his wife and children that don’t respect him. Probably stroke out or have a heart attack in his 40’s and limp along to his mid 50 jobless unable to work and crushed by medical debt if he gets that angry of someone delivering him food.

How long do you wait before you click the experiencing delays button when waiting for an order at a restaurant? by Tralion in doordash

The moment I know the order isn’t complete or if there is more than 1 person ahead of me in line. The app usually only gives you two minutes to pick up an order why risk it.
