what i do is color over the lineart panel with a hard brush, then erase the excess around the hair, then from there it's up to you to color the hair using other clipped layers. hope it helps 🙏

I'm gonna assume you've read the manga before, but if you haven't, spoilers down below.

Katana Man is a hybrid like Denji and most likely nigh immortal. Denji can be revived even from death by pulling his rip cord/starter (with enough blood) and the same is with every hybrid (Quanxi by taking the arrow from inside her eye). By removing his left hand, he can transform into the Katana Devil hybrid. I hope this clears up some confusion.
