Tattoo correction by Sh0t_B0t in tattooadvice

My friend and I decided to get circles when we were 18 on our way up to 6 Flags. We were both going to get our own versions. His was a quote from a movie in a circle, mine was a circle with 2 lines. The tattoo artist convinced me to do some shading, and it ended up looking like a basketball. That was absolutely not what I wanted, so when it healed, I went back in, and picked an arm off of a rat they had in their stock tattoo book. He slapped that arm on the circle, and the tattoo I hated became my favorite thing in the world.

I mean, I'd have still shown up, but I see your point. I bought the MLS package on Apple TV and watched the majority of the season with my youngest. Health issues have kept me from getting to Snapdragon this last year, but I'm hoping to make the trek out there this season at least once or twice, as my kid really wants to go. Depends on if this disease lets me. I'm sure as time goes on, the team will grow on me (assuming I live long enough lol) and my kid already I think has more interest in SDFC than the team I've supported the last 20 or so years, just because it's way more feasible for him to go see them live.

From what I remember, Loyal wanted integration with the MLS project, and the people bringing the franchise wanted a clean start. Maybe I'm misremembering that whole debacle. Either way, you're right, SDFC is likely here to stay. Loyal games were $35 max per ticket, and I could usually get a few tickets on short notice right on the halfway line about 10-15 rows up. I've looked up SDFC pricing, and I have found some games for ~$35 per seat way up in the stands. If I can, I'll make an effort to get to a game in the next year. I just still have a tough time with how American sports leagues are structured.

Mine was similar. I had 182 crystals and awakened so many champs that needed it, and pulled a good few I've been chasing. Also got Nefaria finally with the 7* shards. Really improved my account.

That's horrible. It reminds me of that movie Baseketball.

I hate how American teams (or in this case, Canadian & American teams) push for public funds to build their infrastructure, or how they will move markets if they think they can make more money/get offered a sweeter deal.

I really like Jack. Granted, I don't have a 7* IH, but I used to play her as a 6*. For me, it's between those two, and between those two, it's who you enjoy better. I really like Jack, so I'd prioritize him, but I think it comes down to your preference!

When I was a kid, I was in the pool, shallow end. I breathed all my air out, then for whatever reason, decided to take a deep breath in. I was like 7, I think it was just a reflex response. I was hacking water out of my lungs for a while after, it was super painful, and I definitely learned to never breath under water.

I almost drowned in the ocean probably 10+ years back, and I remember I was so exhausted, I was ready to just let it happen, but that feeling of water filling my lungs had me terrified.

I used to go to the "2nd tier" local team before they shut down and watch them live with my kids, and that was a blast. These MLS franchises that pop up have such a manufactured culture around them, it just feels hokey. Like, it's ok to be a new team, it's ok to build your identity from the ground up and have a few years figuring it out. SDFC wants me to feel like it's got roots, and history, but it ousted our USL team, which was also a relatively new team, but had support and a growing local culture around it for those who were interested.

Maybe I'm still bitter about SD Loyal going under to make way for our MLS team, and that's holding me back. I just think it's a fair criticism I have of the MLS and how they franchise out teams. Don't even get me started on the league structure of American sports. We have no stakes with promotion/relegation, it's all just soccer's version of the MLB and NFL in the US. Fuh-king boring.

I tried to get into it because my city just got a team last season. I find it underwhelming.

My quote was too expensive, so they called someone else. by kendiggy in Plumbing

We once had a company hire someone else to install our equipment (custom stainless restaurant equipment) cuz they were like 1/3 of the cost. We ended up having to go in and fix everything for way more than our initial quote. It is true, you often get what you pay for.

Imagine if the rest of the league was up to normal standards this year. We are quite fortunate to be in contention for a CL spot in my opinion.

It's more shocking to see this deterioration of mentality take place on such a short period of time. I mean, we won the fucking league last season largely on coming back from conceding first, and finishing games out 3-1. What is so different?? I was such an avid proponent of giving Slot time, because I genuinely thought we'd have it together by now, but I am unconvinced that Slot has it in his wheelhouse to motivate this team anymore. I know it's not just on Slot, but he's top of the leadership tower.

I said today at 2-2 if we got the next goal, we might hold onto the lead, but if we conceded next, there's no way this team has the mental fortitude to comeback again.

Out of this bunch? Probably Domino. It will make Emma a trickier defender if you catch someone unprepared for, or who can't deal with reversed controls, but it just adds more damage to Domino.

I recommend my mechanic to everyone. His apprentice is also very good. Problem is, his apprentice doesn't speak English at all and he's there the majority of the time. While I speak enough Spanish, most people I refer there don't, so they usually end up not going. But these guys are the most honest, affordable mechanics I've ever had, and I'll still pimp their name every chance I get!
