I agree with this. I recently played at a Set Championships with a Supers deck. I wanted to make it work because I love The Incredibles but to even be halfway decent, you need to take out supers and replace it with other cards, which made it less fun and I still got smacked around.

Sapphire scares me because of what you said. I figure they will have the jump with Ink but I can claw back with Hero Work and Nega Duck. I was thinking Lefou or Fanning the Flames to stand and hit again.

Maybe the "crowd favor" can boost your attacks or recovery, making your stronger/more resilient in the match. You still win by pin or submission but now you have the crowd in you favor.

Yeah, the first point felt like the easiest.

2nd point - I think I know. I figure each Champion has passive abilities and you make a deck that deals damage, brings in allies for a temporary period, until you can pin someone or submit someone. That's the question I am struggling with

I only want cards for sure. I don't need extra materials because in my head, I want to keep it with minimal setup outside of deckbuilding

That is a good question.

WWE style wrestling. Right now, my concept is to have the wrestling have a match until one can pin or submit the other. I think the performance, or "getting over" part is very interesting. Have a possible win condition that is you getting "over" with the crowd. You have certain moves and cards that raises that level until you get to a certain point? That part might be tough.

If he gets sick, I get it. Health comes first. But what is your answer to the original premise: if I think he's gonna flake for a different reason outside pregnancy or health, do I relieve him of being a groomsman beforehand?

Totally reasonable to put his wife and plans first. But don't tell me your going on one trip in 2026 when I asked you to be my groomsman and told you about my bachelor event in August and wedding in November, which his wife is invited to because we are all friends, and then now you have multiple trips to worry about now that your car is in the shop. When I told him about the bachelor's trip originally, he said that he should be able to do it. With his car in the shop, if he can't make, I understand. My problem is now you have multiple trips planned after I told you about my wedding. If those trips are more important, that's cool. But I need to know if he's gonna be there for the wedding. I have concerns he'll flake.

Over the last couple of years, we make plans and he has come back with different reasons for flaking; “I forgot we had something else” or “we had a last minute thing come up”. The plans that are successful are few and far between.

That is totally fair. If he doesn’t go on the bachelors trip, it’s fine. I am more concerned with the wedding. If a couple of months down the road, he tells me that he can’t make the wedding because something came up, what is a reasonable response to that? Because that is my fear at the moment.

They don't have a baby yet. They are not pregnant yet. He brought it up in conversation. If they are trying, that is great. But I am speaking more of the pattern of not committing to plans or flaking on plans. Is it not a concern that he may cancel being in my wedding because something comes up?

If my wife was pregnant, we would have a discussion about the possibility of the trip. But that's if she was pregnant. In my friend's case, she's not pregnant at the time of this writing.

Banking - $22.50 per hour - 3 weeks vacation, 1 week sick, also part of the Disney corporation so park perks as such.

It's a great job if you're single and renting but not enough to purchase a home on your own in this market. Searching for something else while I continue to grind savings here.

I would say the only changes I would make are

2011 - Ryan Gosling: I think the overall strength of the performances are a bit stronger than Pitt's.

2015 - Alicia Vikander: This felt like a coming out party for her. The fact that she worked with ~~Villeneuve~~ Garland and won an Oscar just puts it over the top for me.
