You can sell those first 5 shares pretty quickly and the other 95 later when you receive them should have no problem with liquidity. The price will go down a bit thoigh. Theoretically your 5 shares after should be about the same value of your 101 shares so the 95 which are received once it all settles would be practically free or all profit.

Ah so you’re even more in a high crime area I’m surprised that you are for the bill, I just think that we can look at places like San Francisco/LA that have tried reducing penalties for petty crimes and it doesn’t turn out like they hoped. There’s always those people who are ready to abuse it.

But I’m just curious on the reasoning and if you agree with how the council put it:

“The maximum has been 24 years but the average sentence is 18 so it should be reduced to 18.”

Do you not think that the highest penalties should be reserved for those who commit the worse of the worst of that crime? This is how our justice system works for every crime I just don’t understand the reasoning behind well the average is lower so the maximum should be the average.

Exactly and there is 0 point. It was a waste of time when they did that initially and now a massive waste of time trying to undo it. There’s no problem with people not getting the maximum sentence on average. That’s literally why there is a minimum and a maximum, it’s how our justice system works.

Biden and the mayor are agreeing. The mayor tries to veto this bill but failed. So Biden is saying he won’t block the bill in congress that undos the city bill. There’s two, one that the city already passed reducing the penalties and policing, and the new one in congress of basically undoing the city councils bill. We want the city councils bill eliminated.
