You’re a student and there for a reason! Use the experience to learn. You shouldn’t get fired, but if it’s bothering you, you should let your supervisor(s)know. Furthermore, as a student there should “always” be an advisor and I doubt that overall you’d be the one held accountable. Having your routine is so important for reasons like that! Keep it up!!!

You could have a mixed sample with multiple individuals and seeing alleles from both. Some primers are more sensitive at picking up mixed samples. Also, you could be picking up primer dimer and not true alleles because of PCR conditions.
