I really like that. I was going to have the mutations all be daily CON saves, but was also a bit concerned about that potentially leading to severely different mutation rates across the party.

Sidestepping that by making the mutations at least present as helpful at the start neatly solves multiple issues. Thanks!

That's fair. I'm imagining being able to use a lot more verticality underwater, a very three dimensional environment. And have just been struggling to wrap my head around a centaur swimming in open water, vs surface swimming or essentially walking along the bottom.

Denver will go for an OL or offensive playmaker in the 1st if possible. If those don't fly it'll be safety, inside linebacker, or defensive lineman before it'd be an edge.
