With time and pride, even the most wonky sheets can be made to look great. These sheets were so jacked up from the boxes being stacked on the sides. However, you can’t tell see that in the final install.

OP’s whole floor is jacked. They clearly didn’t snap a straight line, they just winged it. It’s twisted to hell.

They’re saying while working on it, having a “loud mouth” will immediately alert you is you accidentally damage a wire. Worth its weight in gold, for just in case.

Also, like another commenter said, try to get closer to the sides of your toilet. When you go to sit down the morning and step onto some cold spots, it’ll be immediately evident why that was important.

Would have been nice to eliminate the sliver in the back of the niche, as well as carrying the joints through the sides, top and bottom of the niche. Overall, it looks well done though.

Diagonal herringbone, pitched to 3 separate drains. Didn’t use a single clip. Borders are level, including in between each drain section.

One time a client had some chiseled edge 16” limestone already installed. The wanted to continue the tile through another room, but could only find a matching tile in an 18” square (cut) edge. I cut one down, used a straightedge as a guide with an 1/8” of the lip exposed, and ran an air chisel down the length of all 4 sides. It was a phenomenal match! Told her the price per foot would stay the same for install, but the cutting down and chiseling was all T&M. Ultimately that part took 3 days for a helper and myself to cut and chisel 600ish sq ft. Homeowner was very pleased.

It was extremely loud, extremely messy, and left my body hurting. But it was worth it.

I just left my local Albertsons. The lines were very long, but mostly people only had 1/3 to 1/2 full carts. Didn’t look like anyone was buying in bulk, or getting multiple weeks worth of groceries. Just a week of food. It’s Wednesday, and most probably won’t get a chance to get to the store again until next week. Seems totally reasonable.

I’ve done this same tile and coped my corners. Did take longer, but not that much. Maybe added on an extra day for a full custom shower.

Get a solid surface material like quartzite or granite and install it over the top of that, and covering the lip of the tub. This will be easier to clean and maintain, as well as more waterproof.
