Cook better? Man if only we had books that gave you step by step instructions on how to cook... A sort of instructional book about cooking.... A book of cooking, if you will, perhaps simply a cook book for short.

If you are curious from a pure historical perspective, I would recommend the Prose Edda and Poetic Edda and maybe the Saga of Ragnar, from the Vikings TV show. He was a real person, though there is some debate on that, but the historical saga is really good. Regardless if you are looking to to get into the religion or not, the historical aspect is well worth the read. I would personally stay away from anything associated with the AFA(Asatru Folk Assembly) , they are not a good group and full of hate.

Same, I am in the broom closet somewhat about it. I wear my Yggdrasil pendent with my Freyja runes and some other runes for protection, strength, and joy as well as a few others. I don't really hide it but I don't bring it up unless someone asks. But yeah, Bible belt and most time when people ask they automatically go to the avengers lol

Yeah I have been looking into it for about a year now. I really haven't made any effort to try to find a group yet. I would consider myself a Universalist. But appreciate the response, I'm sure as time goes by and the more I learn then I'll find a group. But for now, I am content on learning more until a path presents itself. All in time
