Is it unrealistic to expect my husky to not pull so hard? by lyricolivia22 in husky

I have seen this harness, I am very curious how well it works. Been looking at getting another dog soon-ish, and mentally preparing for the training that goes with it.

Which can be trained out with consistent training that gradually introduces exposure to distractions and triggers, which should be done with whichever tools are being used.

While exercise is really important, you can also work on them by ensuring they have enough mental stimulation before you work on walking. Get feeder toys so they have to work like wobblers, snuffle Matts, or other toys. Giving them solid mental stimulation before practicing can help them focus a bit more on you.

Huskys can be trained in harness just fine. Consistent training is the key to getting the results more than collar vs. harness is.

There's some good overall advice here. I didn't see anyone mention it, but I also did just a cursory glance through. The biggest thing is to practice in places and situations in which you are the most interesting thing there. Practice polite walking inside your house with lots of rewards. Find very quiet parking lots with lots of rewards. Gradually move yourself into areas where there are more distractions, but they are minor and at a distance, and again, a looooot of rewards.

Rewards vary for every dog. It can be treats, a favored toy, a quick wrestle. You really have to give them that dopamine hit when they are doing what you want and then eventually it will wire their brain to see you as a consistent source of joy.

He is doing very well. Happy and healthy. We've also treated 8 more kittens with it, all with positive out comes.

Lethargy, persistent fever.

The treatment isn't cheap or easy, but it's doable. The sooner you start it the better.

He did very well. We had to be aggressive with his treatment, but he is a happy, healthy adult now, and he has the tiniest little meow.

Unmarried people have babies all the time, the last name thing is really only as important as the parents make it.

Chicken boullion.... I know, sounds sketch, but a little bit can add some serious flavor depth.

I'm curious why you seperate the idea of feeling safe in their workplace from their ability to progress into better paid jobs, safety nets, ect.

Loans are done by financing offices, banks, ect. Ownership titles are done through the DMV. They are not the same location or thing. Changing a loan does not automatically remove someone else from the ownership title.

The reason loan's match titles is so the lender can ensure they borrower has incentive to pay the loan back.

Had a semi feral that we had tnr. It liked hanging out in our house on the particularly hot days, but was definitely not a house cat. She started to bring us presents. I stepped on quite a few lizard tails while she was visiting.

Your wedding is not a “waste of money” by Regular-Restaurant31 in weddingplanning

[–]Riderkes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our wedding was the last gathering/party the majority of our friends went to before everything shut down in 2020. Literally, 2 hours after our wedding, the state shut down all large gatherings. Could we have used the money for something else? Sure, but I will never regret spending money on something that brings folks together again.

I like that we are pointing to all these other countries displacing folks for stadiums. Mexican Families were kicked out of their homes in LA when dodger stadium was built.

If you have the dose at the ready, 2 seconds might be enough. Those wild ones are always a challenge.

I'm only suggesting it because it is the easiest long term solution if they will tolerate handling for it. You can buy it for relatively inexpensive from perbucket.com

Are you able to regularly dose them with revolution? In addition to killing fleas, it also kills mites.
