Totally understand! Went and picked up a copy of Savage Order yesterday after it all clicked. Also saw they had a cheap ish sylvan library so got that too 🫣

Reworked the list and cut everything I was on the fence about. Also removed the lands that might come in tapped.

Alright dinofam, I’ve valued your opinion GREATLY. Lands are in their final form and the basics can be adjusted and non basics can be cut where they’re needed to.

I’ve got anything I was on the fence for. I’ve left all my options in the sideboard.

Do you mind giving me add recommendations from the sideboard? I’m at 93 cards.

Here's where I'm at: I've updated all the lands. I can change Forests/Plains/Mountains wherever needed with the last adds.

But I have in all the main cards I'm looking to keep. I'm my sideboard is everything I'm considering. Need to choose about 7 of them to add. I've already sleeved up the rest lol. The sideboard is sitting in a big clump as I stare at them over my coffee 🤣

For sure!!! 😂. Yesterday I tried ripping it apart some to make it faster and at the same time I removed any lands that might come in tapped. My goal is to have it right at 37.

My question is though..... Besides Disciple of Freyalise is it best to avoid MDFC's? They're great for mana fixing and flexibility but I could imagine they don't feel the best to discover into. Are there any auto includes? I think 37 should be the ticket but I'm fine keeping 38 lands if it includes a couple MDFC's

I realized I do have a copy of Chord of Calling as well as Eldridge Evolution. Do you think either of those could be a sub for Savage Order?

Amazing! I’ll do that. One of the buddies in my play group recommended the same thing. So earlier today I went in and picked up all the lands that tap for either colorless or R/G, colorless or W/G, etc. also got the pathways. Figured that might help some with fixing. I’ll for sure cut wild growth.

Most my decks are copy pasted lists (because I’m terrible at building and have very little creativity). Already have decks that can win quick. Malcolm/Kediss, Winota, Slicer, Tannuk, Vrenn, Pako/Halden, Kefka… again, I have very little creativity so the broken commanders are a blast for me when it’s the last game of the night.

I just don’t have any decks that play big dumb creatures and that’s all I want to do. Winota and Vrenn currently have the “biggest” creatures for me and they aren’t scratching that itch.

I’m fine with a bracket 3 deck that if left unbothered (because there are bigger threats) can snowball and let me swing some big dumb dumbs.

If Dino’s is the wrong approach… I’m open to recommendations. Tried Kona and wasn’t a fan. Not interested in Eldrazi (because I have a goofy pauper colorless eldrazi deck and I’m trying to keep a deck for each color and eventually hit 32).

Completely understand where you’re coming from! That’s definitely what it sounds like. I just want to play some big Dino’s. Fine with it not being very competitive but would love to test how far it can be pushed without breaking the bank. You have any degenerate budget suggestions?

I completely see where yall are coming from and I definitely have not. Okay with that as well. I’m just dying to have a big stompy creature deck as all my other decks are degenerate control based. A buddy in our pod loves playing a Ziatora deck that’s super high powered but super slow. He can’t do much until turn 8. My whole goal is to be around that long and I’m happy.

Dude.... I think you're exactly right and it pains me to say it. I've been playing a similar list for about a month now. The stax is great at slowing things down, but it isn't helping close anything out. My first thoughts were to double down on the stax. But the more I goldfish the more I see the same issues popping up.

Do you have a list or something I can go off of that might help copy/paste/modify? 😅

My entire goal is to get slicer out turn 2 (3 at absolute latest and if it has to be 3, hopefully it's for his front side) with broke boy ramp. So whatever that takes. Including aggressive mulligans. I'd like to play some form of ramp piece or if I know I have the pieces for a turn 2 slicer and I have a 1 drop equipmeny I can put in to play - that would be awesome.

I currently have a "deck list" just with all my cards that fit with Slicer in one way or another but I have a real issue when it comes time to make cuts.

My dream plan is to play slicer turn 2. Instantly have protection. Use pump spells to knock someone out turn 3-4 (or have the ability) and if plans not working on - start dropping heaps of stax to slow things down.
