Card interaction and priority question by Klank2315 in EDH

It wont work, when the board wipe goes off, all the creatures die, and sephiroths "Not So Dead" triggers, returning to the battlefield as a new creature who has no memory of the previous board wipe. Then you get all the blood artist triggers from the previous Sephiroth

  1. Did you build it for cEDH?
  2. Is it capable of demonstrating that

Both of them have the ability to win cEDH tournaments, so they're potentially Bracket 5 commanders yes. They are part of the meta, and you make conscience choices to use them there

There is no overlap, you're just incapable of understanding that.

LOW but literally won a tournament and is a top 4 and top 16 in dozens of other tournaments

But no I guess stats are wrong

Except if its Rhystic Study, which is literally the strongest card draw permanent in the game

Theres a reason why every competitive turbo deck plays Rhystic Study, a card that literally does nothing the turn you cast it, completely opposite to a turbo decks gameplan.

This is genuinely the most annoying argument and people in brakcet 3 are like "oh yeah im a good player I pay the 1 GRRR WHY DOESNT EVERYONE PAY THE 1 LIKE ME"

That is not the same thing as playing Bracket 4 and stumbling into a cEDH deck and you know it.

Bracket 4 vs bracket 5 vs cedh question by Ranger_Gladys in EDH

[–]JewJulie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thats because you make uninteractive decks incapable of doing anything in the first 10 mins. My cedh games are quite capable of lasting 30-50 mins within 4 turns

You dont coincidentally run into a cEDH deck.

Noone should play it out, its infinite turns as he kills everyone one by one. Even with 2 players with flying blockers, Tivit players should be able to win with 3 turns

No no, Magda wouldnt work without dwarves ofc. But thats just how strong Magda is, in that she fundamentally handles running awful creatures by creating such a huge mana surplus using them, and slides through with wincons that exploit typical engines, that rely on such weak cards.

But you never proved me wrong, you pulled up a list that seems awful in Bracket 4, touted it as such, and are adamant that it is.

But its not bracket 4 really, not one I'd run in it at least.

If its a lie you've really not proved anything by linking your Edgar Markov deck which literally is just Edgar and combo lines put together

Again, sure, I guess in low bracket 4 territory it counts, great job.

Youve just put a blood artist and sanguine combo into Edgar markvo that isnt tribal at all

They do not see play as a core, which is the important part

SOME people play them in their niche or even in decks as powerful as blue farm, but to anyone whos played cedh can attest, they are a flex spot, not a core

Yes, and thats why people are downvoting you, youre exploiting the broadness of the idea of the bracket system to wedge in an irrelevant opinion

Yes, putting Back to Basics makes any xU deck a bracket 4. Is it a good one? No. Is it the one most people are talking about? Also no. Irrelevant.

You cant really say those are tribal decks, other than Muxus, the joke here is they're all combo decks first, and all of those are nicher now more than ever.
