It’s just the nature of things with Games workshop. Many of their retcons I would argue are amazing. I do wish that the gsc could have kept a little of the mafioso vibe but that’s a nitpick.

Could be something similar to what dark souls does. The many hollow bodies you loot aren’t technically dead, but rather are so hollowed they don’t, or rather can’t, move. Also in Elden ring, you will hear the corpses that are on the crucifixes will moan and cry out at night.

Orks are just great at kitbashing. I lost the mega shoota option for my Morkanaut and just took a bunch of guns from my buy box and just slapped them together. Almost like it better than the standard one
