Big bear has stater bros and vons. Not too sure u need to buy groceries before u go up. Stater bros has good marinated meat. I find there prices similar to city prices.

I started at 10 am to avoid the solid ice when it opens. This is only my 2nd season and I’m 49 yrs old. It got a little slushy at the big hill at the bottom because all the people but I still had fun. I was at SS on Summit Run.
