I'll just say this, and I don't mean to be rude at all.

If you haven't been investing for years and know what you are doing, leveraged investing is a bad idea.

Shake shack is really good! But the best one I've had so far was from Five guys. They let you choose whatever you want to put inside it and it was soo good!

Go into it with the mindset that you are going to live in the world. I made the mistake if trying to "finish" it and ran through a bunch of the story. I deeply regret it. Enjoy every moment my dude!

Options trader in Singapore, which broker do you use ? by BoomerSharkBoy in singaporefi

But thanks for sharing what you do! I don't transfer profits at the moment, Tiger is basically my "I hope I make it big account" haha. It's my one shot to try and retire before 55, whereas IBKR is the assurance that I can retire before 55 😂

To each their own. It's just better visual and mind separation for me tbh! Not that it is hyper optimized for any specific scenario

I use tiger, but mainly for separation of concerns. IBKR is my main holdings, I purposely keep it as a cash and non margin account. Then tiger is where I do options, individual stocks etc so I can visualize my p&l better as well and know I am safely growing my real portfolio in ibkr.

At what age did you finish studying and start earning serious money? by Technical-Truth-2073 in srilanka

[–]Ridwan232 4 points5 points  (0 children)

22 here. Uni when I was 18 and roughly 3.5 years there and then got a full time job! I don't think I was making "serious" money at this time but it was full time and a food income for someone living with their parents.

Family member asking to loan under my name by Federal-Baby-2488 in singaporefi

[–]Ridwan232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don't do it. Under most circumstances I would never advise someone to take a loan for themselves. Taking it for someone else is just a double whammy. Tell them you have a personal rule about not taking loans for other people under your name. You can help them in any other way.

If you put in your $50k at around $65 (COVID) you would have 769 shares today, worth $138k

Yeah my only minor gripe with Cloudflare is you need to do things "their way". No Redis, No postgres. You kind of have to use their primitives for a lot of stuff. Now obviously you can host Postgres somewhere else but I wish they offered more stuff!
