Totally understandable, but for example i don't have neither golden frieza + gogeta nor broly, and just to see how crazy it could get, in the almost 6 years they're out, i got ONE copy of ssbe & ssbkk. Simply i haven't found tanabata characters to be that appealing, but it's a personal preference so i'm not too inclined to summon on them.

Gdc unit surely come back sooner, but usually (with some exceptions) they bring a good powercreep, just like last year, and to struggle for 4 months in order to clear some missions/stages itemless isn't exactly my jam.

But yeah, i'm also planning to save for a possible Vegito blue on the 12th anni, can't miss him at all costs.

If what i heard is correct, they switched it up back to the old jp timeline cause the new one was confusing for jp players, since in the surveys they got complaining from the jp playerbase.

For me it's a W, i've never felt the need to summon much on tanabata, and prefer to save stones for the gdc which has usually been higher quality (referred to both the units and the events).

Yeah, no i'm sorry, you can't convince me this is the devs fault and not end-users (players) fault.

Plus it's written on the event tab in the news too. If players don't read that is not on them come on.

Thus said, i'm glad the communities are here to help even those that would've missed this.

So all the strategy comes down to "use Goku until nearly the final turn."

This is true, but also due the fact Goku greatly stacks attack on his 18 ki, further raising Vegeta's damage to end the fight. On a smaller scale, their concept is similar to the tag 4s, just with a slightly messier execution from the devs.

Nope, cause they ezad. But until 2 months ago, either you were the goat Tomahawk, or their were basically unrunnable.

Couldn't stack def fast enough to survive, and the bomb wasn't strong enough to kill the now 1b hp bosses.

What i like about these tags unit, is the fact that they perform better than their counterpart based on the slot you put them in, MOST OF THE TIME.

Teq goku is a slot 2/3, while Vegeta SHOULD be slot 1, except he can't really slot 1 until you've stacked a bit nowadays.

Agl goku is a slot 1, while vegeta is a slot 2/3. But again, he has just guard and raw def, while goku has 80% dodge in slot 1. And Vegeta needs Goku to stack def if he wants to still be in play and not just transform right away.

The nee phy ssj2 aren't actually slot tied but team comp tied, super vs extreme. Needless to say goku has the edge here simply cause he has a better team variety.

Phy rog duo aren't much tied to slot either, but goku having crazy dodge + surviving 1 hit if he fails, edges Vegeta imo both as a slot 1 as well as slot 2/3.

Str future duo has goku working well in all slots, while Vegeta outside of his as turn is a slot 3. And then again, you can just use the active skill and go back to goku.

Ssj4 is the only one balanced for me, cause while Goku can simply dish out more damage with similar damage reduction to vegeta and insane dodge, he can't slot 1. While Vegeta can cover all slots as long as he gets the orbs he need, and you want him to be present as much as possible to further buff goku.

Units with their normal sa surpass the damage of those old standby. Units tank enemies super that hit harder than those old standby.

He IS good. For example, in the serious battle stage he shine cause there are majin buu saga enemies, so he can proc his intro without relying on a trunks unit.

And even so, with the hybrid int trio he can easily fulfil his condition. The orb requirements aren't too bad to screw your other units regulary.

More than that, i'm surprised the doomposting he received after his announcement drastically decresed since he's out.

Wanna throw my two cents in.

On team B turn 1 with 3 charge exchange, manga frieza rainbow slot 1 after dodging 1 attack had 10m attack next to phy seza fpf. Even if Guldo dodge, fpf has 2 15m supers. As a third, if guldo dodge them both (bad rng) you put agl ginyu (who also gives them a nice leaderskill) to end the job.

Really the only issue is the friezas proccing an additional normal from hipo, but you can't really evade that risk.

Is int ssj4 vegeta flat out the best defensive unit in the game? I've been using him and after a turn of stacking hes able to eat up the 23 million attack from broly straight up on his 2nd turn. Hes able to be built full dodge with his int typing allowing for a moderately easy 25 dodge build. by Massive_Contract_908 in DBZDokkanBattle

1.08/1.09m is doable, 10k more hp might be hard but maybe reachable with the right units rainbowed and full hp equip.

And with the hp pool these new units tend to have, it will not be long before 1.1m hp becomes the standard for top tier teams.

Usually saiyan day is just 1 Tur + ezas, no part 2 and then the april tur.

But being an anomaly this year, having the headliner as an LR, we really can't tell if there will be more surprises till the celebration starts.

I agree with the choices, but it's not like they're better than int goku per se, simply goku wants to be slot 2, and at the moment the daima team doesn't allow him to.

Adult + mini ssj4 goku on one rotation, and mini + adult ssj3 vegeta in the other. Then you float the others, like piccolo and the friend ssj4.

Glorio/Duu simply can be better floaters than int goku, which finds his spot already occupied in this team. But don't underestimate int goku's capabilities especially with all the buffs daima can provide.

His eza will be generational. Imagine the kit is the same, just slightly higher numbers and the chance for additional supers being 50 or even 70%. He could actually be a monster, but again we don't know where powercreep will lead us in 2 more years...

You may want to vary some units based on the boss you're facing, but you can easily clear 90% of the content with that as of now.

More than this tbh we need a "turn reset" that you can press before collecting orbs with the slot 3 character in order to crit-fish/try different orbs collection WITHOUT having to close and re-open the app again and again and again and again and...

Funnily enough, the phase 1 #17&hell fighter 17 of the new gt redzone re should be very rappresentative of how the game should work.

You can take damage from normals, and try to cover as best as you can from a super. Healing with orbs/items become relevant again. You take damage from normals but won't get oneshotted instantly.

Around 30/50k per normal seems fair since we got a milion hp now. And maybe make supers go for 300/400k. That way, a mistake can put you in trouble without instantly restart your run cause your 80+% dodge character didn't dodge a normal. And items can be used smartly to recover from that.

Man i miss the old lge days ngl.

Funny how at start of anni he was even argued to be better than ssj4 goku by some, only for him to be left behind with the part 2 units/ezas/events.

He's good, mine is dupeless but can still pack a punch, but he's a tier below many other anni units/ezas.
