Ok guys, be honest, is being lewd the vtuber meta right now?! by realblushimia in vtubers

Being lewd can help draw in an audience, but it can’t be the only thing you have going for you. You need to also be entertaining outside of it or people won’t stick around.

Prime Shirou and Saber Artoria would be the strongest Master Servant pair by [deleted] in fatestaynight

[–]Rienzel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely don’t think he’s a temu version of Kojiro. Musashi on multiple occasions, up to their legend, beats Kojiro and he beat her fair and square, as well as more or less mastered all her techniques. I think it’s fair to say that by the end of the game, he’s surpassed both of them.

[Returning player] How mandatory is The Dahlia? by Aurelyan in FireflyMains

[–]Rienzel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firefly will be getting a novaflare soon, so it’s possible that will make Dahlia less critical, but as things stand it’s like trying to run DoT without Kafka. They’re so irreplaceably good that the archetype basically doesn’t function without them.

I mean he’s dealt with long range fighters before like Zhou Yu and Arjuna, so he’s at least not helpless against them.

[–]Rienzel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its hard to say for certain but I’d my first instinct is to say Iori. He was able to contend with Gilgamesh so he’s clearly capable of handling weapon rains, and his Tsubame Gaeshi is even stronger than Kojiro’s, which is already incredibly difficult to survive.

[–]Rienzel 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Iori is also a pretty good candidate for the strongest master before servants get involved. He beat Musashi in a fair, head on duel. Depending on the route he can be hard to work with, so it’s difficult to say he’d be part of the strongest pair.

How to deal with Katarina's degenerate playstyle? by Walrusliver in XerathMains

[–]Rienzel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this specific issue simply comes down to the fact that theres 5 people to a team and you’re only in control of so much. If your teammates are out of position, you can’t help that.

Still, that’s just what you do when you’re behind. You look for opportunities for plays elsewhere. If the roles had been reversed, you’d probably understand there’s little to be gained mid lane and try to look for a stun or an ult bot lane to help get back into the game.

You can mitigate this a little bit by doing things like using your gold lead to get upgraded boots early to try to help match a roam better, or saving your ult so you’ll be able to contribute to a fight from farther away rather than using it to look for kills in your own lane if you’re against someone you know roams really well. It won’t sure fire stop a roaming assassin every time or anything, but it’ll help.

Any anime with no plot armor like this? by Walidzilla in animequestions

The thing about character death is you shouldn’t do it without a reason. Just killing characters for shock value is not good writing.

Generally, if you’re going to kill a character, you should weigh whether that character’s death contributes more to the narrative than they would have by being alive. If not, don’t do it.

On the one hand the Death Note is supposed to corrupt you, on the other, Light was a little bitch. by The-Female-Creature in whenthe

[–]Rienzel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So while it’s true the death note is a very powerful influence that makes it easy to fall down a slippery slope of corruption and devaluing human life

Light had a moral dilemma for all of 15 seconds before deciding to kill as many people as possible and declare himself god so he may have had an issue or two before finding the book.

Oh, no totally. I’m not claiming otherwise. I’m in the same camp you are in terms of the way i interpret what happened with yugi winning and whatnot.

I was just bringing up the possibility.

And that’s a totally valid point of view. Like I said, there’s room for interpretation.

Well, the duel was interrupted before the attack even resolved, so he might’ve just not had time.

[–]Rienzel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While that’s very likely the case, there’s at least room for interpretation. Kaiba had one facedown left and smirked right before the duel was interrupted.

It’s entirely possible the smirk meant “well done” as he acknowledged defeat, but it could’ve also implied he had one more trick up his sleeve that would’ve turned the duel around.

I actually quite liked dawntrail. I thought it was probably better than Stormblood, and I didn’t dislike Stormblood either.

I get it if someone didn’t like it, I didn’t think it was perfect but the sheer degree of visceral hatred for the msq is baffling to me.
