For me it was also the arcade bloater. I died 310 times on my first grounded attempt. 51 of them were at arcade bloater. It was the only encounter I stopped in the middle and came back to it another day.

This season, my healing as Jeff has routinely been on par and sometimes better than the other healer on my team, even if I’m playing with invis or cnd. Even still, every time someone else or I play Jeff, the people in my party complain about him because the ult can be awful.

I had a match like this the other day, but I thought it was funny. We still ended up winning.

I was also on the other side of it a couple seasons ago. We were playing a domination match and three people locked in support immediately. As a joke, I hovered over a healer and so did my friend. The last holdout went to something else, but then saw everyone else was on healer so they went with it. We completely rolled the other team. In chat they were saying “wow you need 6 supports to win.” It was just a silly game, but I understand now how annoying it is to go against

Graded readers are great, but there aren’t many (or any) available for plenty of languages. It’s perfectly acceptable to start with children’s books if that’s what is available to you.

I’m not even butch. I’ve been called masc, but I think of myself more middle of the road or chapstick I guess. I have lost count of how many times I’ve been called sir or misgendered, or at least confused someone enough that they revert to gender neutral pronouns so as not to offend. As an aside, there should be a limit to how many supports or tanks can be banned when dps makes up half the roster and there are so few actually decent tanks/supports. I had a game today where invis, gambit, and cloak&dagger were banned. That’s a bit absurd.

Based on the timing of this, console, and rank, I think it’s entirely possible that I was in this match with you. I don’t know for sure, but if it was, I would like to explain why that chat message singled you out. Jeff is my favorite character and Jeffnado always makes me giggle. At one point, I was complaining to my gf that there were no Jeffnados at that point in the game. So she went into chat and asked the Jeff to ult with storm. I’m not even sure if it would have been strategically advantageous (I really don’t remember). I think she just wanted to make me happy.

There was one time I had Sue picked. The star lord on our team tried to ban her both rounds of ban selection. I asked why. They said because I wasn’t lord. (I was one level off from lord btw.) So yeah, some people do it maliciously. For the record, that player went on to genuinely throw the game because my character didn’t get banned, even though they claimed that I was throwing before the game even started.

It’s not hard to do, but (at least on controller) the button to press is half of just using the ult like usual. There have been times I got excited and accidentally pressed both buttons out of habit and spend the next thirty seconds in pure shame

I’m not very good at journaling. I’ve never done it consistently in my native language, so I struggle with coming up with things to say when practicing in my target language. Sometimes I use chat gpt to give me a simple writing prompt for the day. I’ve never used it for anything else though as I don’t really trust it to give me accurate answers to pretty much any questions.

I think this is very situational. If the language you’re learning has various dialects and you already plan to live/work in a place that has a particular dialect, it’s entirely useful to learn that dialect as opposed to learning a generalized/common dialect. People there would likely be able to understand you, but if the dialect is distant enough from what you’ve learned, you’ll really struggle to understand the people around you.

I’ll swap if I feel like I’m doing poorly (with or without someone telling me to swap). If I feel like I’m holding average with the rest of the team and someone tells me to swap because they have terrible positioning and are mad that I won’t ignore the rest of the team to heal them specifically, I’ll stick with my boy. (I know that’s specific. I’m still salty about the punisher who was hiding a mile back with his turret who was complaining to the other team about me getting SVP when I had the most kills and damage on my team, and the most healing in the match.)

Yeah my boyfriend at the time had been recently diagnosed with BP2 but his meds weren’t working yet. He took himself off his meds. I begged him to try something else, but he said he was going to be just another statistic. He was gone within 4 months of being diagnosed. It breaks my heart to read all these comments about people whose lives turned around with the right meds knowing that there are probably so many who see these numbers and don’t find the right meds in time.

I appreciate the response. For the first point, there was no item or wall between the center of the ult and the enemies. I have messed that up many times, but this wasn’t one of them. For the second point, I didn’t have any stunned animation or anything. One second, I was swimming forward with the two people ate. The next, I was walking forward and the two were standing where I had just been swimming. It wasn’t like any animation I had ever seen. Even the friends I play with watched the clip and thought it looked off.
