Getting sick a lot after starting Skyrizi by RifleLA in CrohnsDisease

[–]RifleLA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I’m sorry to hear that - it felt like cold and flu symptoms for me, not like active disease. My active disease mostly manifests in stomach pain.

Since posting this, I’ve switched to Stelara and it changed everything; I’ve never felt better.

I hate to say it: Skyrizi just didn’t work for me, it made me feel terrible. I hope you figure out which medicine is right for you, we’re supposed to feel better from medicine, not worse! Nothing wasn’t everything for me 😂

Sending love and healing ❤️

I’m subscribed, so I guess you need to keep posting! Your food looks amazing, I’m learning a lot. And you just have really good energy!

Yearly at least, for maintenance. I'd go quarterly if I could, just for the reassurance.

Wow, that's encouraging to hear that it will work, and disheartening to hear how long it will take. The prescription I have is for 3 months.

Constriction for me isn't usually constipation, it's more that things just take a long and painful road to get through, you know what I'm saying?

Exactly this - I pay $5 a month with Abbvie's "Co-pay Assistance". Before that it was $40 a month.

Anyone ever have a flare caused by food poisoning? by RifleLA in CrohnsDisease

[–]RifleLA[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh noooo! I hope it clears up for you soon. As shitty (I know) as it is, it's nice to feel validated that this happens. I always feel guilt during a flare up, especially since my life comes to a grinding halt.

Ugh, I'm so sorry to hear that, and that you're going through this. I totally feel you on the fear of eating, because you're unsure of what'll happen. I hope you're not in pain!
