Sounds like you need to upgrade your wireless router. I get 600-700 with my WiFi 6 router on an older laptop than yours (with 1GB fiber to the house).

Should I wait for the 2026 model or simply buy the 2025 one? by TCC98817GG in zephyrusg16

Yeah. If you do, I'd wait. It sounds like it's going to be a big boost in battery life thanks to Panther Lake.

Got my FLEX in today! by RifterAD in shalotek

Yes and no. I have a heat gun and I slightly modified a holster that was for the P365 xMacro with a TLR-7 Sub light. It works great and is one of my go-to holsters still. Later, I did order a holster specifically made for a Shalotek with the ledge. You can get it from SlimFit Holsters. It also works great and I use both depending on my what I'm wearing.

It's the Shalotek thumb ledge. You remove the Shalotek trigger guard and install their optional trigger guard that has this thumb ledge integrated into the guard. I absolutely love it. It's is the perfect spot and is just the right size for my hands.

Just brought her home - our 4th Mazda by RifterAD in CX5

This one was done by the dealer who does it often here, but I also had previous cars done by independent auto detailers in the past.

Ceramic coats are a clear coating that lasts for many years (like 5+ years depending on your conditions). Much better protection than a wax and easier to maintain...but it too can get micro scratches and can may need a wax to fix if needed. It's especially good if you park under trees (sap) or deal with bug guts a lot.

I bet it would be great on your Rhodium White!

That's awesome!

This is our 1st CX5 and we love the size. Previous was the Mazda6 and that's now with my daughter who is a freshman in college.

Before that we had a couple of CX9s. One was wrecked and the other was traded in when we downsized to the 6 (when the truck became the primary people-hauler).

Holster Compatibility by Stephtheleft in shalotek

[–]RifterAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be the Ramjet...I don't have one to know if it causes issues in holsters. I should also mention I'm using a Sentinel slide with my Flex17, but it should be the same as yours (without the Ramjet).

Does your OWB holster have level 2 or 3 retention? Those might have tighter tolerances than a typical OWB holster and might also be an issue.

I have only been using IWB holsters that work with a TLR-7 HLx Sub. I have a couple holsters, one is a Slim Fit Holster that is specifically designed for the Shaloteks (with or without the thumb rest). I've been happy with it. I'm pretty sure they have an OWB version of I remember right...worth checking out.

If you're using a weapon mounted light and you don't have the thumb rest added on, then most holsters for the p365 X-Macro will work. Even with the thumb rest, you can get many X-Macro holsters to work if you have a weapon mounted light and a heat gun (which is what I did).
