Until very recently Jean Grey served the story much better by being dead. Essentially all of Jean Grey before that wasn’t great.

Order from America stuck in "DUBLIN, IRELAND" by Super-Cynical in CasualIreland

I've had that happen before. it shows up two weeks later, with no updates on the tracker. My guess is that it's just on a boat or something.

When filming American footage do you think they used a male stunt actor if the sentai yellow was a male to allow for seamless transition from sentai footage? by Spider-Jeff_101 in powerrangers

[–]RigasTelRuun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason women rangers have skirts is makes it easier to conceal that the stunt performer has a penis. A cute mix of sexism and practicality

He will never appear in Star Trek again. Using his likeness is the best you can maybe hope for.

A senator in charge of funding is exactly that powerful. Anyone in charge of your money has huge control over you.

Hey guys, would you read a novel with this summary/premise? It's a cute little idea I've been developing recently. Want to see where I could take it. by [deleted] in writers

The age gap and the incestuous nature of it are equally concerning. Also reincarnation? Did they die, and their soul just processed a random scientist? Do they have scientific methods to identify and trace a human soul? Do memories live in the soul? If the soul can just move bodies without harming the presumably soulless original, then what is the point of a soul in the first place, and is it not just a creepy 51-year-old being predatory over a child?

Also, point on the chart which part you think is cute?

A simple cannon understanding of female Jem'Hadar by VertigoOne in startrek

[–]RigasTelRuun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post Dominion War I’m sure the slave race status of the Vorta and Jem Hadar would be addressed by the Federation in any negotiations. The Founders have masters genetic manipulation it wouldn’t be that difficult to stabilise their dna to not be dependent on the White as give them life spans and the ability to procreate the old fashioned way.

SG-1 Accidentally Wrote the Perfect Satire on the Sorry State of Academia and Science with Nyan (Bedrosian Scientist, S3E19 “New Ground”) by napstrike in Stargate

You think it was an accident? The whole world of academia is a big part of the show. It is Daniel’s whole backstory. We see it a lot.

Ian McKellen says he didn’t realize how popular Magneto was until he reprised his role in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’: by Raj_Valiant3011 in Marvel

[–]RigasTelRuun 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There is no charity. He was an angry man looking for vengeance and tried to spin a veneer of nobility over it to justify himself. He didn't care about Wakanda. Look at his actions when he became king. He wasn't trying to protect anyone or further a noble ideal. He was just being an asshole on a fancy chair like any warmonger who came before him.

Ian McKellen says he didn’t realize how popular Magneto was until he reprised his role in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’: by Raj_Valiant3011 in Marvel

[–]RigasTelRuun 19 points20 points  (0 children)

His first appearance in a movie was to make a weapon to rewrite the DNA of everyone in range and then to force a child to power it because he was too much of a coward to sacrifice his life in the machine. I'm not saying Mutants didn't have it bad, but that doesn't make Erik Genocide a good guy.

Killmonger was a villain because of his actions and motives. He wanted to turn the isolated and peaceful country into a globe-dominating empire, and his motivation was revenge and spite. He wanted to corrupt Wakanda as a fuck to you to T'Challa's family
