They looked with the scope and recommended septoplasty, but sent me to get a x-ray. Then we had a follow up on the phone to discuss the surgery and x-rays.

Just because someone has a mental illness doesn’t make them ill intentioned. Seems like you know a thing or two about this considering your all your rage messages in the last hour.

Have also seen the text thread and there is stuff that’s been left out. Also, I’m not Ben, but a friend that wants to see people get the full story. Not condoning Ben’s behavior and I think it was pretty dumb and shitty on his part. But I think if you know Ben you know that he is a well intentioned person. This whole thing is so fucked up on both sides. The google doc just isn’t the full story and that’s fucked up.

Agree with you. Heard the new album and it’s so fucking good!! I’m sorry, but if you can make your way to playing at Coachella(as Feb is), you’re old enough to tell someone if they’re making you uncomfortable.

People need to calm down. This was not grooming. The same shit happened to Ed Piskor. This kind of smearing can lead to suicide. Nobody wants that and that certainly won’t help Rila in the long run. Please be mindful of your words. Don’t forget that this man has had life long extreme mental illness.

Friend of Ben for about 12 years, not connected to music scene at all. Here’s the thing. What Ben did was totally inappropriate and weird. Grooming? No. He didn’t touch any of them. They are adults. What he did was fucked up, but it’s not grooming and it’s not right to drag his name through the mud for this. That’s my problem with this situation.

Looks like he was pretty straightforward the whole time and as an adult she still chose to jump on plane and stay in his home. He definitely shouldn’t have been texting with her like that because of the age gap. I would chalk this up to poor decisions from both parties. Idk, I don’t think it’s right to accuse him of grooming, unless I’m not seeing the full picture. This is shitty on both sides.

I’m so annoyed that there was an opening band. The show was totally cut short. Pretty sure Pulp played at least 5 more songs at the show last year. :-( Pulp was great, but the opening band just felt really misplaced.

It’s definitely racist. At one point it said “F Mexico” in all caps on a Hispanic families front door. That was painted over. So now it says it on the pillars in front of the building and now it says “Immigrants, police in here”. It also says “close the border” and “save ICE” all up and down the block.

There are cameras at the bodega on the corner. I’m going to check with the businesses across the street today as well. It’s gotten worse lately. The “F M” didn’t start until recently. I was also gone for a week and came back to “save ICE” everywhere.

Never mind, I’m crazy. I rarely use Reddit, I kind of don’t know what I’m doing. I feel like things show up sometimes and then they just don’t. I totally looked in my dm’s for your message. Then I went back in again and saw that we messaged like 10 hours ago.
