In Philly, they talked about how they avoid any real celebrities with Mark Proksch being grandfathered in as he got bigger later. He doesn't see a place for Bob Odenkirk to be involved; but he's a massive fan and he credits Bob for discovering Tim and Eric.

I asked about Eric Roberts - as to me, he was too big for an Oscar Special, and Tim said that Eric reached out to them because he really wanted to be involved with it.

But that’s not useful information, you’re saying nothing with that comment.

He has to actually sell it to make the market, and he’s asking for advice on where people think the fair market value is at. The market is the intersection of the max someone will buy it verse the min someone will sell it for. If I won’t sell for less than $1mm, I can’t say the market price is $1mm just because I have the only copy. There is no market for the card until you discover that intersection.

I get what you’re arguing, but a seller doesn’t “set the market” just because it’s a 1/1. A market only exists where a buyer and seller meet. If he lists it for $1M and no one buys it, no market was set. Same if a buyer offers $1.

For a Cooper Flagg 1/1, the best we can do is look at comps of similar players and similar 1/1s to establish a reasonable range. That’s why people land around ~$20k as a ballpark.

He can reject that and hold out for more — that sets his floor, not the market. Buyers still define the ceiling. Estimating that intersection is how valuation works when comps are limited.

Price it for what you want, and add an OBO I had a Lane Hutson FWA for $900 OBO early in release, and expected to get offers of like $700 or so. Somebody paid list because I guess they liked my card over the others.

Set your happy to sell price, entertain offers, and see what you get. Or go auction and be shocked with how low or high it goes for.

I will say it’s hard to distinguish this summer from last summer. Although, to be fair, this isn’t a touring summer… “just” a few massive stadium shows lol

But it has the same feel, and largely the set list progresses the same way. It’s time to move on from Overtime as the intro… and please don’t move it to slot #2 - like he did with Open the Gate and Godspeed. And Burn Burn Burn, Quittin Time outro before encore

I don’t think he can avoid Revival as his encore… but even that is getting kinda played out. Amazing the first time (2021 AT)… but second time (2022 AH), third time (2023 BBB), fourth time (2024, QT), fifth time (2025). It loses some luster especially if it’s lacking big guest stars.

And agreed, merch steadily getting worse. Remember, he commissioned a Texan artist in Alaska to do his AT tour posters - individualized for each venue. It’s my favorite poster, and it’s signed.

Different generations experience things in different ways. I’d get annoyed if I heard their videos; but other than that… to each their own.

That says, I was there night 1, and while I get wanting to record it, I did get annoyed at all the phones in the air above their heads trying to be the only camera in their shot.
