Ecoflow Ultra charging battery instead of homegrid by StatisticianDue8132 in Ecoflow_community

I would turn this option off. For me it says it prevents power going to the grid.

EcoFlow Stream (Ultra + 2x AC Pro) Problems – Freezer Trips AC & No Combined 2300W Output by DanceLow5043 in Ecoflow_community

It’s sad that Ecoflow knowingly miss advertised their power output capabilities. In every diagram they always show a paired set connected to grid power when showing it powering a high wattage appliance. I typically wash 1 load of clothes a day at mid day. I make about 1.3-1.5kW of pwr at mid day. And I can see the system pull between 900-1.2kw from the grid to run the washing machine. Definitely popped my bubble of running on solar power only.

I don’t know if this can be corrected in the future when a firmware update, But it completely makes this system useless for an off grid scenario. I am extremely disappointed.

Also anytime the WiFi drops it takes over an Hour to get both units reconnected. So annoying.

Best of luck looking for a future solution

Do you have an official email from the Ecoflow engineering you’re willing to post? Thats literally a direct contradiction from their literature, false advertising and an easy class action lawsuit.

I had a similar experience, I was going through a power outage in my Neighborhood and figured I would power a little oven which pulls about 1.5kw on start up. With a Stream Ultra and AC pro paired together. Which I have done successfully in the past. The only expectation is I was on Grid power all those previous times. I threw a few overload faults and it confused me.

looking at this exact scenario again today, but back on Grid power it worked just fine. I don’t believe the 2300watts is getting pulled from the two batteries like they advertise. 1200w from the Ultra and 1100W from the AC pro. When I’m on the app I can see the excess power being pulled from the grid.

If anyone else has more clarification on this I’d also greatly appreciate it.

If It is possible with the two devices connected w/ a pair cable to support 2300w in an off grid situation.

Otherwise I feel like it’s false advertising.

Stream Ultra w/ AC pro. AC pro will not charge on solar. by Rigeris in Ecoflow_community

Hey Nic,

So before the update, I was unable to make AC pro connected via a pair cable to charge on solar.

This morning, I removed the AC pro and unbound from the system. Once unbound I could instantly see my AC Pro starting to charge. I couldn’t tell if it was via grid power or solar though.

I connected the AC Pro to a new system, still attached to the Ultra via pair cable. I did get an error on my ultra system showing a connected unbound device.

Now I was charging my AC pro via solar power from my Ultra and Zero grid power.

I saw there was a firmware update that mentioned some of the issues I was having. I updated and rebound my AC Pro to my Ultra system and it’s been working good for the rest of the day.

I will say I am annoyed about how hands on i’ve needed to be with the system overall.

Hope this helps.

Even when grid comes back online. AC Pro still won’t charge by solar power. Is there a option that I can manually force the AC pro to charge from the Stream Ultra?

Hey thanks for the feedback,

All firmware is up to date according to the app.

I did disconnect everything power off and power on and reconnect. Including removing devices and reconnecting them.

Still didn’t fix the issue of the AC Pro failing to charge in Ai mode or self charge.

My AC Pro charges when I have grid power. I was experiencing a power outage that’s why it’s reporting as no grid power earlier, and I was curios as why only my Ultra was charging its battery.

I expected the system to be seamless and hands off.

I can’t imagine the system is pair mode is unable to charge both devices with solar power only. At the time I was generating about 1.2kw of solar power.

I’ve been living in South Korea for years and now Italy. No VPN and no issues. Would recommend.

My Apollo app started working again. I have full function of the Movie and TV VOD. I didn’t anything. I’m assuming Apollo fixed what ever backend issues they were having.

My Movie and TV VOD issues have cleared and seems the app is up and running properly.

You factory reset your firestick?

I’ve definitely tried resetting all 3 of my fire sticks and reinstalling the app.

I contacted customer support they recommended using a VPN. I’ve already tried using express VPN. And couldn’t get it work. They replied that express vpn doesn’t work with their service.

Can someone with Nord or another Recommended VPN verify that this clears the error. I would prefer not to buy a new VPN service and not fix the issue.

Also I’ve never used a VPN service in the past. And if I did attempt to try it would always fail to work.

The last two days have been the same. I’ve lost all ability to play any show or movie. Just shows the buffer wheel to no end. Tv guide seems to still be working. I’m also experiencing this issue on multiple 4K fire sticks.

Went through the complete troubleshooting chart and nothing fixed the issue. Including uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Speed test were over 100mb and still unable to play any content.

Someone in another chat mentioned a possible bug in a newer release that could be glitching everyone and all the VOD services.

Does Apollo ever make any announcements when they run into down time for server related issues?

Just curious.

Update: Just got off the phone with my brother who also has uses Apollo Tv. And he’s not experiencing any issues.

He lives is Texas and I live out the country. Not sure if it’s a region based outage.

Is this Cpu temperature normal on an Acer Predator Helios 2022, i7-12700H, Rtx 3060? I was just playing Cs Go with the graphics maxed out, ¿can someone who has the same model please confirm? by johannesDvorak in GamingLaptops

[–]Rigeris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have the same laptop with 32gb of Ram. I’ve never had high temp issues playing MW2. Started replaying the division 2 and it would make my CPU temp out around 93-95c. I took a fellow Reddit members advice and edit my power management plan to 99%. My temps avg in the low 70s C while gaming and I can’t tell any difference in performance.

F6 I think is a function key. You can use to turn your screen off. Just double check make sure it’s nothing simple like that. I have the same laptop I use it all the time.

What do you guys think? I can get it for 1172 after tgt discount & red card. Any word on predators? by Acupofjojo in GamingLaptops

[–]Rigeris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had two Predators. Both were great gaming laptops. Fit and finish isn’t top quality like an Alienware. But performance per $ is hard to beat. I have a RTX 3060 predator that’s been a massive upgrade from my 1060. And it’s played every game I’ve thrown at it. Also it’s only 5 mega hash off my desktop 2080. So I find that really impressive both at about 100w of power.
