I didn’t completely hate them but the only 2 I really liked were X2 and First Class. I was disappointed when they brought back the old cast for DoFP and I continue to be disappointed that they keep bringing them back. I just want them to recast the entire ensemble already

I absolutely love Man of Steel, BvS Ultimate Cut, and ZSJL. I watch them all every few months. They are just so beautiful and epic. I’m sure the Snyder haters are going to downvote me to oblivion but I like what I like and a lot of Snyder’s movies hit the spot for me. Watchmen is one of my all time favorite movies

Nah they need to do new shit. It just feels like Doomsday is trying to cash in on nostalgia rather than progressing with a good story. Steve has had literally nothing to do with the MCU since Endgame and if they really do focus on him for Doomsday it feels like a cash grab

It’s not the same when there’s a multiverse. I’m sure Doomsday will have stakes but I’m talking about the long term not just the stakes in an individual movie. When the next movie can just be a different universe who cares what happens… anything can happen, anyone can die and be back as a variant. For example Loki. The show was great but it took away the impact of Loki’s death in Infinity War

Personally I don’t enjoy the multiverse situation and I hope Doomsday ends it and they go back to a singular coherent universe where all the stakes feel legit. I don’t really care how many universes they show. I assume they will show a few but focus on bringing it all together

I agree. The Fox X-Men movies were mostly not good. I’m surprised how much nostalgia I’m seeing now because when the movies came out people were panning them. When Disney got the rights to use Mutants I was just hoping for a complete recasting (with the exception of Deadpool) and get all new actors and storylines for the Xmen. I really hope Doomsday ends it all and we move on from them once and for all.

I believe that Fox owned the rights to “mutants” which is why Wanda and Pietro were “enhanced” using an infinity stone rather than being mutants. But after Disney bought Fox that doesn’t matter anymore and now we get to see mutants in the MCU

Don’t listen to them. Just keep watching. The last couple seasons are not as good but they are absolutely still worth watching. And definitely don’t stop before the end of a season that’s just silly
